I just bought this like 2 weeks ago and now it doesn’t even weigh correctly. I weigh 170 and everytime I weigh myself it would go 7lbs to 300lbs. I’m assuming something internally is broken

Our electronic scale just doesn't turn on. There is no turn on/off switch, it just turns on by knocking on it. I thought the battery is empty and replaced it with brand new battery. I was shocked that the scale still doesn't power on. After a while it turned on by itself and I thought it's ok, but after turning off automatically after few seconds, then it simply doesn't turn on again. I disassembled it but couldn't find anything wrong inside. Any help and idea how to fix it? Thanks in advance!

To replace the Battery Spring Contact Plate Terminal on your RENPHO scale, here are the steps you can follow: 1. Unplug the scale and remove the batteries. 2. Access the battery compartment and disconnect the wires from the old terminal. 3. Remove the old terminal and note its orientation. 4. Connect the wires to the new replacement terminal. 5. Secure the new terminal in the correct position. 6. Reinstall the batteries and test the scale. Be sure to handle the electrical components carefully and refer to your scale's user manual or contact support@renpho.com if you have any further questions or need additional guidance 🤗
I have it for almost 2 years and I am happy with it. One thing for sure rubbish is lack of the on/off switch. I use it once a week or once in 10 days and I keep battery cover removed to be able to connect/disconnect batteries. Otherwise batteries run out pretty quickly when compared to the number of measurements I do. Now, I have got a little switch from a toy which I would be happy to mount it myself to do this energy saving trick and keep my battery cover assembled rather than loose. So the question is, how do I open this scales to reach to its guts?
We would not recommend this as opening your scale will void the warranty. The scale turns off automatically when not in use, and will wake once you step on it.

Yep. Mine showed that detail for 10 days only!!!! I was so disappointed. Thankful my weight is accurate. Purchased mine through Amazon and also shared a review. 😉

My Renpho keeps on calibrating at 18 lbs I’ve only had it for a couple of months. I tried everything to help, a bunch of videos and articles. Nothing helped

The foot pads of the scale have "detached" from the scale. Are they supposed to be magnetic? How can I reattach them? This is nuts... the scale works fine when we take the time to ensure the feet are in the right place, but that takes 4-hands while tipping the scale up and holding each of the pads in place!

I used a small paper towel soaked in vinegar to clean the rust off the battery connections, and it worked

Actually worked😅.. the springs were rusted . Just used a sandpaper to clean them off and viola!

Mine won't measure anything other than weight anymore. All the others features don't work anymore
