This video was a bit more sombre than my previous update videos.
I was concerned it was a little too __ at times.
But I have to stay true to what has happened and how I feel (I'm also just coming out of a tough section of work so you may have seen that in my eyes)
I often think about how it will be reflecting back on these videos in many years, seeing how things develop and change.

OMG the 500 MB thing simply "killed" me I knew it was GB and lost 4-5 minutes after that ... will have to rewatch.
Another brutally honest video, it's refreshing, I really hope these appease the all mighty algorithm and you get the appropriate reaction to it.

I've checked and you don't have a patreon and I think you should. There is no shame in it - it's not a charity case for someone who doesn't need it. It's a way of supporting the key creator that you've become for some of us.
You could also make a ''narrowboat'' video. Try it out for a week (if you find someone willing to let you live with them and embark on the adventure). That would most likely boost your channel ;)

In my last year of 'Working For A Living' I made approximately $80,.000 US. To get it, I worked 10 hours a day, five days a week. I ran a crew of 12 mechanics, some of whom loved Trump with a passion bordering on they psychotic. I worked for an entitled rich bastard who was never happy with anything, in a shop that was on the verge of being shut down by the Fire Department. I quit a few days short of my 60th birthday to start my own business. Never looked back.
Your videos are a refreshing change from my usual habits. From the rat-a-tat delivery of "Project Farm" to the Stooge-like antics of "Junkyard Digs" I guess I prefer a bit more vitality in my viewing.
And Time spent with you is time well spent. You're calm, honest and growing. Your accent is mesmerizing. Keep up the good work!

Ideas. Tour of your new home, tour of your village. Q and A with your mom, personal products and clothing likes, favorite foods, restaurants, your childhood. So much to talk about! And we will be listening😍
Just found his video and I’m really glad. Everything you spoke of is so relatable. There’s something about the way you talk to your viewers that makes the viewing experience quite enjoyable
Suggestions for new videos: Instead of expensive or exotic cures that are outside of most people's budget, can you do more videos on things within most people's budget and limitations. Use your own current distress as a clue because there are a lot of single people struggling. Pets for companions? Gardening for health and healthy foods? Art expression? Music therapy routines? Walks in the park for nature therapy? How to make human connections through mutual interests/ hobbys? Nesting by creating warm and comforting rooms in your home? More cooking videos! BTW, walking a midsized dog in the park is the easiest way to meet eligible partners that are neither gymrats nor couch potatoes. Its easy to make casual conversation with pets around at the park and safe.
Just remember that your honesty, vulnerability, and openness is integral to your channel's success, perhaps something lacking in the conventional wisdom from other creators, so take their advice with a grain of salt - what works for them may not translate. There are enough fake people on youtube.

Hi Laura! There are so many reasons I love your channel. It is not just the entertainment part of it, it's for who you are and how you present the information. It's for your honesty, for your open mind in trying things and for you being so brave and open your heart in front of the camera. I know you have the resistant factor when creating but I tell you, you definitely was born to be a UA-cam star and thank you for not sponsoring products you don't know and don't trust.
I really relate to being solo in everything. I did that for a decade and it was very draining on many levels. There was the financial strain as well as having to be decent enough at ALL of the things in life, even things like car care, taxes, and investments which are so not my natural areas. But having nobody to bounce ideas off of and to share decisions with was what has taken the biggest toll. When I hit 45, I knew I needed to get more focused about making money again and having access to health care, so I left being a doula and went back into a corporate job. It was a hard trade-off, because I loved the doula work so much more, but I had no benefits (living in the US, so no healthcare without an employer) and the income was unsteady. The idea that there is no perfect solution, just trade-offs, has been helpful (once I got past the resistance). It is helpful to hear someone else's process and winding journey! Thank you for being so open!

Laura I don’t know how this comment will come across to you but just wanted you to know I find you fascinating! I am European, spent 22 years in the USA and then just came back home to Europe to live in my own country but a different town I never knew before to be with my mom who is fighting stage IV colon cancer. What an abrupt difficult move that was!!! I am working remotely but that is not easy because I stress one of the bosses who opposed it is always trying to show it won’t work!!! Anyhow… I love any and every single video you put out!!! Just love your tone of voice, your accent, your interests, your outlook and how you are so real!!!

One of the owners actually supported me on the move because her own mother had dealt with this awful disease as well as her husband and mother in law. I wish we find a cure soon! oh, Laura! Congratulations! What a journey. That takes a lot of gumption and willingness to learn and pivot and just keep on keeping on. Well done! I know it is very trendy right now and it is rather exclusive to women, which may not be good for your viewership, depending on how that leans, but things related to perimenopause if/when that begins to be on your own radar would be great. There are so many ideas about what to do out there that it is overwhelming and I have found myself wishing I had a Laura Try take on some of the suggested practices/products/services for that particular transformation.

I really resonated with your comment about working alone. Having a team or workplace creates accountability and helps with the resistance to actually do the work. I am writing my PhD and its very "solo" and I feel so much resistance to do the work without a team around me to keep me accountable.
