yea... but it's $375k to already rich streamers, these guys wipe their ass with $375k so it's no big deal. Them trolling and doing some mistakes for content wouldn't justify getting DQ'd in a world where $375k is pocket change and tbh is probably just as profitable for them as winning the tournament lol. Also, them being in a tourney is different from you or I being in a tourney lol, different rules... well actually regular people (non-pros) would never be allowed to play in a casual $375k tourney in the first place.

issue with some of these streamers is that they take nothing seriously as their "personality" when they need to be maybe just a little professional. summit did not need any winnings, nor did he expect to do well, but he still chose to read rules and respect the tourney lol

Isnt there moderators or anyone controlling the tournament? For 300k one would think there would be people controlling the thing...
Should be a statement for every event for these brain dead streamers that any rule break what so ever (whether a mistake or not) will result in an automatic disqualification from the tournament. Maybe then they'll take the time to read the rules and actually follow them.
This is how it should be when any amount of money is involved. Have to assume malcontent, for all we know there were people secretly practicing with certain modifiers.
I've competed in smaller tournaments where the prize was only a few hundred dollars. If you broke any rules and were caught you got disqualified and barred from next year tournament. Bro imagine if this had happened to doc at the 1994 blockbuster tournament.!

I'm in the same boat as summit nowadays. Used to be able to pick up a game and without much effort put into it, be pretty decent, if not at least better than the average. Now that I'm getting older I'm noticing myself struggling to just pick up a game and feel comfortable in it.

Summit played pretty well during practice, but once the tournament started, he played like he had never played a looter shooter before in his life kind of planning and game sense.

The issue really isn't with the streamers but with the coordinators of the event. Should of been like a 10 minute meeting before hand with the streamers to make sure they knew. Also why have buttons if your not allowed to push them. Just have them locked till your allowed to use them. Tournament coordinators have been dropping the ball recently this isn't the first time something like this has happened.
My thoughts exactly. Another comment was mentioning how some streamers whole schtick isn't professional and just goofing off and not giving a crap. That's fine, but people coordinating a $375k need to be professional.
They had the rules listed its 100% on the streamer should of resulted in dqs
@@thecomplex6805 Completely agree! Hell Taric's was a silly mistake, maybe let that slide with a warning to everyone. Anything after should have been a DQ at least for that round. But the failure is also entirely on the organizers for not enforcing the rule

honestly if the rules are posted and a streamer presses the button that should lead to some kind of penalty in the tourney for negligence. i mean toast still came last but being penalized points would have put him at 0 which would have been funny and depending on the theoretical penalized points lirik might have dropped a few places too.
Whoever was running this tourney should have stopped everything and went over rules for the 5th time.
