The objective or main plot of this anime (without spoiling too much I hope) is basically to build a nation from the ground up and then defend that nation from the multitude of threats that arise. These threats can be anything from monsters causing trouble to rival nations trying to eliminate competition to demon lords, heroes, other-worlders and religious institutions. There’s a lot of intrigue and politics and worldbuilding but (as seen in the intros) also a good amount of fighting. It’s also just so satisfying to watch how the main character‘s community goes from like 10 wooden huts to a full blown nation.
slimes are looked at differently in Japan its Japanese name is tensura it has 2 24 episodes seasons, 5 ova's a 12 episode spin off which is kinda like a slice of life dependes on your taste and a original movie coming this fall my favorite thing about this show is that it can go from wholesome to dark in a heartbeat and it has great worldbuilding
6:15 that pink-haired girl is "the lord of destruction" Milim Nova(formerly known as "the dragon princess") the daughter of Veldavana(one the 4 dragon gods/true dragons) and one of the original 7 demon lords... because she is not only a dragonoid but also a demigod her magical abilities and physical strength are unmatched
this is by far the best Isekai i’ve watched. i got put onto it funnily enough because of Fine Bros because they had their reactors react to it when it had maybe 4-5 episodes out at the time. i had saw it on the main page of crunchyroll prior but i thought the title was silly so i didn’t give it a try until watching the Fine Bros video and i’m so glad i gave it a chance. it easily became one of my top 10 animes. The show at first in the beginning, to me personally, is a bit over the place; it feels like there’s no real end goal to me. but still being thoroughly enjoyable, funny, wholesome, and full of action. it picks up super fast tho and you start getting invested in the characters. season 2 is when stuff gets real REALLY fast. there a movie coming out in fall this year and then hopefully the 3rd season will pick up again sometime next year. definitely give it a watch if you’re into action and comedy packed anime!

The gender of the slime is i dont know to be honest he was a guy before he got reincarnated but after its body is a girl's body. So in the end i think that the slime is just its own gender
