a couple things to note about s1aps crazy ass saga specifically Mt. Carmel a member of the Branch Dividians was a gun store owner and went to several gun shows. The reports of full auto fire is believed to be just multiple rifles going off, and while they were modified, the receivers weren't, which in the type of guns they had were the only part that were super illegal to remove. And for the Grenades, they were believed to be dummy grenades which are also popular at gun shows. Its believed that the ATF lied about these in order to start a raid, believing that them taking down a crazed cult would undo the damage from the Weaver incident. The only thing that would counter this would be that ATF agent who was spilling the coffee cups worth of blood, and thats the first time ive ever heard of that guy.
Well I was at the track for the truck race and it sounded cool that they were running the wet tires but on a 95% dried track? Yeah pretty stupid and also I saw the Hocevar incident and I saw the #17 get loose off turn 2 and run up into the #42 and Hocevar tried to take the #17 out but failed. But it was a pretty cool race and my first one in 10 years so I left pretty happy despite it being rain-shorten. Also the Martinsville hot dog was awesome, just like I remember it.
