    I'm absolutely loving the videos since your sweet Lincoln was born!! I've been watching since 2019 - my husband and I took an RV to Maine for our honeymoon in Oct. 2019, inspired by you guys, Getaway Couple, and some other awesome UA-camrs. We still talk about that trip, it was so amazing. We also just had a baby girl in March and it is so great seeing how you guys navigate this new chapter in life! And all while on the road, so cool. Congratulations and keep up the great work! P.s. hope the Ram is ok!

      That's so great to hear Rachel! It's all about getting out there and making it happen, the little ones are resilient. They will travel anywhere. Thanks for following along.

    Justin Osborn is the best realtor in Durango! While you’re here check out bakers bridge, spud lake, and for sure take the drive up to Silverton and check out the alpine loop ! Welcome to paradise!!!

    So much excitement, some good, some not so great (darn truck issues). Not that you're asking, but you should research the housing crash that has started! Unfortunately it's going to get very bad for many people. But for buyers there will be tremendous opportunities! We're right behind you...keep the house in SoCal, but find property elsewhere!

      Thanks for the tip! We will definitely check that out, I think we are going to wait at least one more year but it's fun looking. We do 2ant to try and keep So Cal l, but Durango is expensive!

    Yep, y'all couldn't have broken down in a better area. Jeep is proving its worth and well within its favorite temps. I could binge watch these latest episodes. Wish there were about ten of this Durango chapter. Looking forward to more of the ongoing adventure there. Thanks again for sharing with us.

    Might as well keep looking at property while the truck is getting fixed. I'm with you, we own a home in north California and also looking to possibly moving from this state. Thanks Don

      Yeah California makes it tough, especially to retire. Thanks for watching Don!

    I moved out of SoCal 24 years ago to Colorado (before the mass migration from Cali to Colorado). It was fantastic for the first 10 years but now it’s basically Cali here close to Denver. Maybe the west side of the state is better if you are looking to escape Cali like other folks. Most of the full time RV community sold a house and are now looking to get a “home base” again. Good luck on finding a dream place.

      Thanks David! Yeah we don't like Denver for that reason, appreciate the kind words.

    I'm glad that you are looking to your future a little more. Like I have said before kids will change your perspective in life. Like being more cautious. They only have you, and what happens when something happens to you?

    • @AdventureEndeavor
      @AdventureEndeavor  2 роки тому +1

      Of course we always keep that in mind. We have a lot of checks in place and being a little more cautious is always good. Thanks for watching.

    If you really want to get to know Durango, maybe you should visit in the winter! If you wait to buy, I strongly believe the real estate market will drop, not like 2008, but it will drop. But of course the interest rates will probably continue to increase, so may not matter if prices go down. I’ve lived in So Cal all my life and like the weather but, I must admit, we are also looking to move out of state as California is full of a bunch of kooks and fools!

    • @AdventureEndeavor
      @AdventureEndeavor  2 роки тому +1

      Yeah I think we are going to wait a little bit keep looking. We don't NEED to buy but like the idea. We have a love\hate with California....🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

    Durango is a great town. It's not too big, but it's shops and character are not all focused on one road or main drag through town...like other Colorado tourist/mountain towns such as Breckenridge, Winter Park, Steamboat Springs, Trinidad, etc. etc. And the Diamond Bell Saloon is a just one of the really unique spots in Durango! As for Costco, you're out of luck as the only Costco in Colorado that's not on the Front Range is in Gypsum...and that's a 5+-hour drive (each way) including up and over Red Mountain Pass (thru Silverton) which is beautiful, but not for the faint of heart...why there is a Costco in Gypsum but not Grand Junction I'll never figure out. From Durango, you're better off driving the 3.5 hours to Albuquerque if you want/need to load up at Costco! Good luck on your quest.

      Durango has gotten expensive. It was also on 5 acres.

      @@AdventureEndeavor That's a great price in Durango for how nice the place was and the fact that it's on 5 acres. We are over in Mancos because of Durango being so expensive, but I love love this little corner. Also, we have grocery stores so no need to rely on costco, and there is a Sam's Club in Farmington, NM about an hour away.
