This was legendary for The Gambia! So far, my vote would be Sallah for President and Essah Faal his Vice President. With all their like views, their disagreements challenge each others policies perfectly to get us up to great start in the right direction for future development in our country! Also my feelings before this debate. - Honestly, respect and humility is not gonna take our country anywhere. We need a leader who fears God only, is direct and actually comes with realistic solutions to our issues. Something which I only see in Essa at the moment. Not to mention he is actually giving a youthful perspective and way of thinking. Ex. The fact that he already has money is more of a good thing rather than a bad thing to me.. He’s not looking for an economical come up like all our past presidents. I hope this time The Gambia will vote for their candidate from a objective standpoint and not on feelings, swayed by whoever they “like” more. Things need to change for real this time, no more time on the clock guys 💛🇬🇲🏆🏆🏆
Maternal mortality rate is easy to solve. You cannot be a contestant in a boxing match and you sit until the last minute and then start training or practicing. You must practice before hand. I’m basically saying in order to mitigate infant-maternal-mortality rates there must be good prenatal services, during pregnancy, ultrasound and various tests including genetics if necessary should be conducted to look for potential future complications. For example, timely ultra sound and lab tests during pregnancy can reveal any abnormalities that could complicate labor/childbirth. Genetic tests during pregnancy can also reveal potential problems that may occur even after childbirth. So Gambia has got a long way to go. This is why I think as citizens we should sacrifice and stop taking salaries- let’s dedicate all government funds/resources to nation building for at least a period of two decades. It’s a sacrifice, government should not be profit making institution for individuals as we see in Gambia. Poor Adama barrow now has over 200 million in his savings while some hospitals have no gloves. Government Employees collect per-diem while poor citizens go to sleep hungry. If I were the president of The Gambia I would not collect salary since government is already paying my medical, feeding, and transportation bills for my family. Or if I collect salary, I won’t accept the extra benefits that comes with it, I would rather have it all diverted to public/state use. For example, I could use my salary to pay for my bills like any other citizen. Qaddafi was building homes for Libyans but he slept in tents and he never build a home for his parents stating that he’d only do so when all other Libyans are housed. That was a man of the people. There has to be sacrifice for evolution to occur. China and all other countries that made it, sacrificed a lot.
I've been saying it over and again. And I'll keep repeating it, Halifa Sallah ia a MAN OF WISDOM each time he speaks, even the deft can hear. There isn't and never has been a better candidate than this fella. We'll be sitting at the corner and staying all the good things about him, yet we turned a blind eye when we really needed his services as a nation. That is devastating!
I think that Faal just wants to bluff his way with that temperament without substance. Three main points 1. To cut the state house budget by 90% is gibberish, 2. that it’s impossible to build a health centre in every village is clueless. Gambia has lees than 50 villages without health centres. To build a size of a 3 to 5 bedroom house in those villages with basic equipments as health centres is trifle to any government. 3. He may be a lawyer but does not know how a country is govern more than Salla.
All these problems in The Gambia is the lack of power energy (electricity) which is part of human life, believe me life in Europe here is different because they have energy power and with that you can have access to many things that could work and it may benefit the Gambian people, example hospital, banks, supermarkets and in fact technology is more reasonable so without energy you missed a lot believe me. Technology can’t work without energy (electricity) hospital laps can’t work without electricity so this is the difference between Africa and Europe
There’re about 85 villages in The Gambia, more than a third has already got health centres. Why does fall thinks it’s impossible to have a health centre in every village. What Salla says makes sense, the size of the hospital depends on the size of the village therefore, some health centres can be the size of a 3 bedroom house.
It tells you how incompetent the president all the other candidates are. These two are the only capable candidates. Gambians have a choice to safe the country by voting anyone of this two right here...

We were ruled by a dictator who control every thing . let me tell you simple meaning of capitalism. It create multiple income streams. Example. Private people to borrow money and use it to be able to own and run companies business. These companies compete with other companies for business. at the same time paying their taxes and loan. we are talking about the government and the government sectors should not run alone the economic of the country there are lot way to invest in including working with private competence individual like Muhammad jah and more fishing sectors farmers, chicken 🐓produced. and to bring some qualified nurses and doctors living abroad to bring them by given them equipment and paid them to be the first responders. Those individual will employed and training our Gambian youths example the fishermen are not able to buy or get a good board that 25 peoples can form and fishing together if the government get them 20 of that we will not going to be depend on Senegalese fishermen and the created 250 jobs and and fishes to the nation

So where are the rest of those so called presidential aspirants, If I may called them run away buggies ? As far as I'm concerned Halifa Sallah and Essa Fall are the only two competent aspirants each of whom when chosen will without a doubt be able to deliver to the Gambian people. In fact this debate should've been the SIRATH, the mysterious bridge between heaven and hell where the righteous crosses over to the other end and the mischievous fall into the pit of hell. Attendance to this debate should have been obligatory for all aspirants to tell to the Gambians what plans they've in moving our country forward and how they intend to achieve them, failure of which should certainly lead to potential suspension from the polls on the polling day. The debate should have actually been used as the yardstick for Gambians to be able to measure the intellectual capacity of each of the candidates and make their choices based on those respects. We are sick and tired of all those loudmouths and incompetent nincompoops who does not even have the understanding and capacity of efficiently managing a corner shop talk less of presiding over the affairs of a whole nation. Our country should no longer be a playing ground for the average fool to come and play with the minds and intelligence of the citizenry, we are so fed up of all those silly nonsenses.

Before elections many're offered a bag of rice,a bag of onions & a 20l cooking oil of a cheap quality from the neo colonial China. Some votes're bought very cheap. Ignorance also play a part during elections. Never underestimate the power of a stupid crowd !
Jerejeff Halifa even if Gambians don’t vote you Allah will reward you .You are a true legend
Interesting from both. I think the time given is limited. Great questions from the moderator
Let us listen to the next candidate's
too
They have nothing to say, theye haven’t competences, that’s why they didn’t come.
Essa is very good 👍
This is what it takes for the citizens to choose wisely and if they would stick to their words and promises and also since we all would prefer these two to lead us in joint hands coming together…. Most sadly We Gambian don’t listen or even able to understand these debates and it would be better if they spread these kind of debates to public in our local language
Please Gambians vote for Mr faal
Where is UDP???
The dodged..
Mr. Faal, what has capitalism done for The Gambia since Independence?
Because it was not implemented correctly that's why it never worked.
I will like Halifa Sallah and Essa Faal to work hand in hand and build up a better Gambia
The 45s you give is too small
At least 2 mins you cut off very important parts sometimes
Why Mr Salah always against Mr Faal when he knows that Mr Faal is right, look all the old people should go and rest Gambia needs someone like Mbaye Faal believe me
Someone who cannot distinguish between a debate and friendly discussion. Has this many likes. Gambia Du dem.
His policy is nokia 3310 n mines is iphone 11pro lol that make me laugh
The time is very short I not let them talk enough.
The Gambia does not need no Water holes when. The River Gambia Is fresh drinking From Fatoto Upper river To kuntaur Town Pipelin ing to The Kombos Until Ganjul.
Halifa Sallah is the best Political in the Gambia
Mr. Faal I can tell you Africa biggest problem of not progressing because of this nonsense of capitalism, Gambia is no exception. If hon Sallah ideas is all about socialism I think Gambia need socialist government lead by pdois government because they have showing their competitancy to the Gambians. A poor country like Gambia the authorities should be in control of evonomic in other to eradicate poverty.
OH Halifa want the 600 million as budget of his government
Faal God bless you and all Gambians
The debate was a good one but halifa was taking things personal
Passion. For gambia
Hon halifa sallah I think he can be the solution to the gambian problem .
But why yellow Dabor is not here??
that cannot and not a reason to make all Gambian to be easily access to the health center. It's simple like when you said to help all Gambians from poor to rich you have to give every one a billion to help them rich even in europe it doesn't work like that. no country's in the world even ever try or want to build hospital in every citys and villages that's simply not the solutions. I will rather if possible every city village to have ambulance than hospital. he has done a lot to the Gambia but he should think also although Gambia is not big and less than 3million peoples. But also calculated the resources we have. and the qualified doctors we have. how many citys and villages in Gambia. Also as he mentioned if Africa don't have to follow the economy countries like EU and others why we learned their books we ? And he should tell us where in the world we should follow and where in the world had good health care system than Eu where he learned from?
PDOIS ❤️
What Halipha said about the military kagame did the same and it works...
Does Essa Faal consume liquor 🤔?
Halifa even in develop countries not every village has a health center
Mr Salah is not someone who can lead the country
You're crazy!
And why is that.
In the Gambia here health centres are not the problem here the problem is lack of medicine and doctors I think dats the issue they should talk about
If you know The Gambia really well, you’ll know that both are problems.
@@alnassi ofcuz I do but wat I'm talking about here is hospitals need good doctors and medicines what is more painful than a woman who need to be operated and the hospital didn't have testing kits to test the blood she suppose to use wether is HIV positive or not dats very sad u know
@@mariamasambou2072 Believe me not, some don’t even have access to health centres, forget about hospitals and blood transfusion. I know what you mean but both are needed.
Fall join Sallah plz
Please say it again my dear🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
