I think the serp helm is so worth for (1) anti venom + (2) 100% chance to venom + (3) kinda tanky doe.
Downside is the increased risk if you use suffering, but I think the risked item becomes helm instead of the staff.

I don't know if there's a cap or not. But the times i've seen 7 people drop in there's 20+ spiders in an instant

I have it set so that loot higher than 1m in value drops to the ground. So if i get something like an ags I can protect it if I die
