Bought the Nike Clash because of this video. They’re really good. Feels weightless on the face and they don’t budge on long runs. Ugly as sin, and they make you look like a gen Xer. But they’re my favorite sunglasses for biking and running.
All great wraparound sunglasses but for me it has to be the Julbo Aerolite because of the photochromic lenses that adjust to light conditions. I love mine for cycling 🚴♀️👍
The Aerolite is great just not as good as the others if you need prescription lenses - however the prescription insert does make them a less expensive option
In the sports segment, there really isn't a great amount of choice. They are the most functional I've come across. I wouldn't say better than Oakley (or worse), but at least not Luxottica. I came across Altera recently who I prefer, but they might be too edgy for the sports market. I'm still trying to decide - what do you think??
@@thespectaclefactory aesthetically I like those Nike frames and lenses. They look good. I own one pair of Oakley, the 5², which are decent but the lenses are not on par of other high end brands. I guess I'm a glass snob now. I am meaning to try the Vuarnet racing wrap glasses. Up until a few weeks ago they had all their measurements in inches! I wrote them an email about it, and now they have them listed in metric. I'm not taking credit for that, but maybe they got the message finally. I own a few Maui Jim Stingray in different lenses. (Maui blue, Grey, HCL) and the MJs are great. One could say MJ is the king but without the monkey and overnight guests. Anyways, weird jokes aside. Great video! I hope you're well. I've been making jokes about all the sunglasses I bought recently, especially regarding the Gast ones, I've been telling my friends "my eye doctor told me to start wearing sunglasses, but she didn't say to buy ugly ones!" And so I've been enjoying being stylish. I've even been updating my wardrobe and taking better care of myself. When Reiss gets more of their product back in stock I'll have to try a couple of their shirts.
Hey Rob, Which is the best frame for my prescription pro Golf rose tint lenses? Like the wraparound style. So I can use for sport and general use. Dying to try out this tint! Help!
@@thespectaclefactory Yeah, lol. Almost everyone from the UK seems to pronounce Nike like hike or bike. It’s pronounced like as though it were spelled Nikey - with 2 syllables.
I don’t hate you’re video and the Nike glasses are cool and I have Nike shoes. But I always cringe about knowing that small children are forced to make them. All live in a slum house housed by Nike just like any other chine sweat shop.

You make a great point. The sunglasses we sell from Nike are all produced in Italy, so I think they are OK.
