The creepy part about the people you fight in the Division and the destruction of the city, is that it was done by people. Wasn’t monsters or zombies. It was people, desperation that tore the city apart. Love this game!
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames you know, whenever I look at games like these that take place in the present time (or a supposed future), I thank God even more when such an event never happened, or that it wasn’t as severe and we get to see another year with civilization still intact. Post-apocalyptic games are very cool until one actually experiences it for himself.
What I like is how they didn’t just do the normal “zombies taking over a city” type thing, they had actual people tear the city apart and break it down. One of the reasons I love these games.
The E3 cinematic is still to this day probably my favorite cinematic for any game I can remember. How the tone of it matches with the narration, everyone is invisible and the first person we see is one who decided to do something meaningful.
The "Take Back NY" trailer will ALWAYS be one of my favorite game trailers. The range of emotions it makes you feel is just incredible. You feel sorrow for the unseen family at the beginning, horror as you watch a time lapse of a city collapsing in on itself, a little anger as you see the strong preying on the weak. And maybe a little hope as you see that even through this, hopefully there will be people fighting to save what's left to be saved. Don't get me wrong though... A government controlled paramilitary force made up of sleeper agents with INCONCEIVABLY WIDE extra-judicial powers is a bad idea on par with smoking a detcord cigarette.
You really get a sense of what happened if you watch the announcement/reveal trailer. It’s not cinematic but it’s honestly one of the best announcements I’ve encountered. It’s from like 2014 or so
They setup the story really well with the cinematics, I can't remember if first or second game did the trailer that talked about the division agents themselves. The point of it was showing the orange circle on various people and the voice over said we are your friends, neighbors, coworkers, we are the division. Then changed to showing the active duty agents. The game is set up more as an open world and you have to complete tasks in that world, it was a lot of fun.
This game was a lot of fun to play, it has many aspects that pull at the heart strings as your going along that legit make you feel emotionally vested in your own character and the ones around you, at times you even find yourself feeling helpless to help out a civilian npc dying at your feet or stray pets looking for food in the street, but I say anything that can give you a strong emotional reaction is a very good game and story.
Madison Square Park virus readings mission, anyone? There's no combat, you're just supposed to take readings from sensors on how bad the virus is in an area. When you get to the park, all you see is a ladder leading into a huge hole in the ground. Descending that ladder to reach the first sensor, and illuminated by scattered trash barrel fires, you see them. Coffins, stacked everywhere, an unbelievable amount of them, waiting for a burial that would probably never happen. It's so QUIET too! The only sounds you hear outside of your foot steps and breathing, is your ISAAC unit chirping quietly as it tracks contaminated particles in the air. Taking the last reading and climbing a nearby ladder to escape the mass grave, you're greeted with sight of numerous flat bed semis and rail cars, some still overloaded with even more coffins. It's just downright chilling.
@@allenharper2928 yeah DIvision 2 is the same way with some of those contaminated site missions, just rooms filled floor to ceiling with body bags, its chilling and makes you not want to be in there, especially with all that yellow DC-19 crap they spread all over

The Division is so good! There is a campaign you can play solo or coop, but the game requires online conection at all times, and there is a zone with pve and pvp
the last trailer was an early reveal trailer, at the time the drone character was going to be an option to play the game on a tablet for when you were away from the computer, but it never really happened. Also the character closing the door as he was taking cover behind the police car was such a unexpected hit with the fans it ended up being an achievement in game, and they even tracked it as a statistic on how many car doors were closed by players.
I clicked this video hoping that second trailer would be here and knew you'd love it. One of the best trailers ever made for a game! This made us so hyped to play before release!
I know this is a year old; but if you haven't already, consider the live action "agent origins" trailers they did for The Divsion PR. Series of 4 trailers to show background of the agents and what they are. The "breakdown" trailer is also pretty good
Theres also a very cool e3 presentation trailer for "the division" that was extremely good. The promotional material leading up to the games release was brilliant marketing.
I know im late but that drone (Chris) in the last trailer was supposed to be tablet app that you could join your friends with controlling drone, sadly that was never created and scraped as many other features in that gameplay trailer. Im sure you already know that Division is always online rpg game up to 4 players and yes there is a campaign that you can play solo or with a group. Other players are present only in Safe Houses and Dark Zone which is no rules PvP zone for 24 players at the time.
I dont know if someone else said this but obviously the whole thing is about the pandemic. The people with the flamethrowers are, The Cleaners, people who want to incinerate anyone or anything that has had contact with the virus to hopefully crush it. Very interesting faction honestly
Oh gosh, I remember when the first Division trailer came out around my second year of university. I remember thinking it was so cool along with the Assassin's Creed Unity trailer. People are split on how good the games are, but I always appreciated a good story!
I'm playing Division 2 right now, while watching this video on second screen... :D There are more trailers and even some live action trailers made for Division 1. The Division 2 will also have some awesome trailers that continue the story from the first game. Game itself is a mix of solo play and multiplayer. You can play solo storyline and your friends can join you on the fly. Enemies will automatically adjust to be a bit harder to kill when your squad has more players. Likewise if a team member drops out, enemies will automatically be a bit easier to kill at the next encounter. There are separate PVP areas, in the Division 1 story line required you to briefly visit some while the Division 2 does not. Considering that the D1 is 6€ and D2 10€ at some random online PC key shop, they offer good value for money in single player if this type games interest.
The scary part of this is during the height of covid. San Diego police arrested 5 people trying to bring a faction from this game into real life. The cleaners, any symptoms you show, your burned alive. The 5 people had 21 gas masks, homemade shields and flamethrowers
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames it was very effective in getting across the vibe of the environment for the story and backstory. the voice over was ROUGH and bleak, in a good way obv lol

Watching you play this wants me to finish of its campaign as I’ve missed the last dlc. It’s such a good game IMO especially that no other game is anywhere similar to its story & concept & the UI & hud. Plus I’ve never been America so playing this give me some idea of its streets & land marks.
Always cool to hear we can drum up some enthusiasm for people to finish a game or go back to a game. Or sometimes people are playing the game we react to 😁🥳
The scary-looking guys with the flamethrowers are the Cleaners, one of several enemy factions you fight in the game. They're former NYC sanitation workers who've decided the best way to stop the virus that's consumed the city is to burn anything and anyone that might be infected.

It is online, but you can clear it on your own even if its harder. "Boss stages" you can do with random players, on your own or with friends. I played mostly with my brother only. And we cleared the whole game just the two of us.
Arguably, the second video is the best game trailer ever made. Unique style, and, as you mention, introduces the look and feel of the game with the very impactful time-lapse, and the last minute, first glimpse of the Cleaners, who live to rid NYC of the virus by cleansing any and all things, with fire. There are so many great elements to this game, great sets, NPCs, survivors, yelling at you out of apartment windows, innovative telling of the back-story, and much more. I am not a fan of multiplayer, and have soloed this game 4 or 5 times now. It is however always online. Safehouses exist throughout the map, and you can see other players there, who are also in the game, but whether you interact with them on a mission is strictly your choice. A fantastic experience. All 3 videos are great. Thanks for posting them!

Great Video...this game and the division 2 were tons of fun playing with my friends online...the subject of the game kind of hit close to home this last year and a half...Also check out the live action story trailers...very well done...so the last trailer you watched was a demo...the game on release was nothing like that...it had down graded graphics and just about everything else was changed as well...still a great game but kind of a let down...You Can play solo...it's super hard that way...you can play with up to 4 friends and the game has missions that basically tell the story...you only do PVP if you want to in areas called the dark zones...So the story is that a man made version of smallpox is released and is about 95% lethal...society breaks down in about 2 weeks and the players are part of a unit called the division...they have extra judicial authority directly from the president...which mean they can just about do what ever they want...kill who ever they deem needs killing to restore order...there are multiple factions fighting for supremacy in NYC...the Rikers are escaped prisoners...the cleaners (the dudes with flamethrowers) are city sanitation workers that think the best way to deal with the sickness is to burn anyone even remotely suspected of infection...and then there are the roaming gangs of criminals and thugs just trying to survive at other peoples expense...sorry this was so long but I feel like you might enjoy the trailers more if you have some context.
One of the things I.... dislike... are the ECHOes. Division tech can replay certain points in time. During one of my play throughs of Division 2 I came across an ECHO in an apartment, stumbled on it totally by accident. There is a covered body (adult female) on the floor and the ECHO plays back a little girl in her bedroom playing and talking to herself about how mommy is sleeping and not to wake her or she'll be mad. The final part is you hear glass breaking and the little girl says, "Oh no, it's the plastic people." I had to.. set aside.. the game for a long time after that one.
You guys should do an Injustice cinematic trailers reaction, just like did in MK (the both are from the WB and Netherrealm Studios). I think it would be nice!
You guys should definitely watch the Ghost of Tsushima trailers.. you won’t be disappointed, it definitely should have won game of the year last year! It’s definitely worth a watch ❤️ ps love the content as usual ❤️
I enjoyed the early game way more than endgame. There's just something about emptying several magazines into the same 6 faces over and over again to farm gear that makes the whole loop less fulfilling than filling out spreadsheets. I mean that literally. It got to the point where I would rather do more work than play.
If you two like the first division you should checkout out Division 2 along with the warlords of New York DLC and also checkout the live action series for the first Division
There is a campaign to play and pvp you can play solo or in a group of 4 there is a division 2 also this is my favorite game I play both pvp and pve in this game
I love The Division series 1 had great atmosphere but 2 has the better gameplay. All the trailers are excellent. You should look at the fan-made agents origins trailer.
I wish I could play the division, you can play solo... But, it is exclusively online multiplayer because of the online safehouses and therefore my game lags out really bad... Anyone else have this problem?
One of my favorite games of all time is Titanfall 2. It is made by the same creators of Apex Legends, Respawn Entertainment, and it even takes place in the same universe as Apex. Could you react to the Titanfall 2 Cinematic Trailer and the Titanfall 2 Campaign Trailer? Im sure you will like it.
These trailers triggered my helper syndrome and where the reason I started playing The Division and The Division 2. The only things I'm not satisfied with, are that they changed the map to some kind of pause menu and the downgrading of the graphics.

Thanks so much for all this info 😃🥳
I hope yall Watch the Darkzone Trailer for this game
We can add it to our list 😇
There are some live-action Division 1 trailers. I recommend those like, wholeheartedly.
😎🤟
Anything planned for 50k subs? 🤔
Not sure yet 😇
I'd love to see you two react to the Mass Effect Trailers! :D
There's quite a lot for you to react, too!
Your last line is spot on 😅 And Mass Effect franchise is on our list to check out 🥳
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames Sweet! Can't wait for it!
When will ya do the reaction to every faction of warhammer 40k from bricky ?
Not sure. Outside of our weekly schedules we post to our channel page and Instagram every week, we can’t give estimates. 😇🤗
WoW journey part 2 when?! Loved the first part
Glad you enjoyed it! It’ll be later this month. WoW journey will be a bit more spread out since the reactions will be longer 😁😇😎🥳
The second game me is so good as well but I won’t say the settings would you to find out on your own
😎👍😃
Division 2 when??
Not sure 🤗
One of the things I.... dislike... are the ECHOes. Division tech can replay certain points in time. During one of my play throughs of Division 2 I came across an ECHO in an apartment, stumbled on it totally by accident. There is a covered body (adult female) on the floor and the ECHO plays back a little girl in her bedroom playing and talking to herself about how mommy is sleeping and not to wake her or she'll be mad. The final part is you hear glass breaking and the little girl says, "Oh no, it's the plastic people." I had to.. set aside.. the game for a long time after that one.
😯
This was great mate I hope you two get into the fallout series eventually I'm pretty new to ya vids but you two are always great.
Glad you enjoyed it! And yes Fallout series is a franchise we plan on covering eventually 😊
You two are Awesome
Thanks so much! 😃
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames, during lockdown in Australia your videos are what keeps me going.
I still enjoy rolling kids in the dz never gets old
😂
13:04 "this is the division ...lets take back america"
Ok but now you need to watch all the live action trailers for it. They play into each other and its honestly better in my opinion
Yeah we’ve been told to check em out 😃
Yeesss finally god I love this game so much
Gotta do more
Second trailer was fantastic. Heard live action trailers are legit too 😃
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames yes indeed
Do the Agent Origins live action trailer next :D
We added the live action trailers to our list to check out 😃
I really loved these games
😎🤟☺️
You guys should do an Injustice cinematic trailers reaction, just like did in MK (the both are from the WB and Netherrealm Studios). I think it would be nice!
Sign us up. Will add it to the list 😎🤟
By the THE best game in the division series.
You guys should definitely watch the Ghost of Tsushima trailers.. you won’t be disappointed, it definitely should have won game of the year last year! It’s definitely worth a watch ❤️ ps love the content as usual ❤️
We will for sure be checking those out 😁
Yes there is story line in the game
😃
people can defend their home, but if people start to quarrel, their home will be destroyed from the inside.
Is that a quote from something? 🤔
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames that's what my father says.
Online campaign play solo but best with co-op anyone can help and unfortunately it ties in kindy with what we went through in 2020 to now
😎👍
Yes there’s a campaign
Hello again :)
Hello! 🥳🥳
Can you guys react to a launchpad cover? Specifically this one please?
Its called "Press Start By WhySoFast Launchpad Cover"
I enjoyed the early game way more than endgame.
There's just something about emptying several magazines into the same 6 faces over and over again to farm gear that makes the whole loop less fulfilling than filling out spreadsheets.
I mean that literally. It got to the point where I would rather do more work than play.
😂 that happens sometimes 🤗
Yall should watch the live action trailers for this game
Yeah we’ve been hearing those are cool 😃
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames they are
If you two like the first division you should checkout out Division 2 along with the warlords of New York DLC and also checkout the live action series for the first Division
We plan to checkout some more Division stuff in the future. 🙂
There is a campaign to play and pvp you can play solo or in a group of 4 there is a division 2 also this is my favorite game I play both pvp and pve in this game
😎🤟🥳
I love The Division series 1 had great atmosphere but 2 has the better gameplay. All the trailers are excellent.
You should look at the fan-made agents origins trailer.
Sounds good 😃
I wish I could play the division, you can play solo... But, it is exclusively online multiplayer because of the online safehouses and therefore my game lags out really bad... Anyone else have this problem?
Bummer 😢
Thanks for doing this guys. no the division 1 does not have a campaing, its an mmorpg. waiting for ghost recon wildlands, call of duty ghosts.
😎🤟
Since you watched the Vemon trailer, maybe you would want to react to Marvel vs Capcom 3 trailers Ep 1 - 4
Have those on our list to check out 😎
Cool
Changing up the avatar 😜😎🤟
I love playing this game its look nice
One of my favorite games of all time is Titanfall 2. It is made by the same creators of Apex Legends, Respawn Entertainment, and it even takes place in the same universe as Apex. Could you react to the Titanfall 2 Cinematic Trailer and the Titanfall 2 Campaign Trailer? Im sure you will like it.
Have it on our list to check out eventually 😅
These trailers triggered my helper syndrome and where the reason I started playing The Division and The Division 2. The only things I'm not satisfied with, are that they changed the map to some kind of pause menu and the downgrading of the graphics.
I would like to se some more RainbowSixSige trailers preferably the tournament of champions
On our list to check out 😇
When Society Falls, We Rise.
Make an reaction about live action cinematic called The Division: Agent's Origin
