I get the feeling that a Shuppet is more of just a wandering ghost that, as Bulbapedia says, feeds off of negative emotions. And, actually, as people grow, I get the feeling that a lot of dolls end up getting thrown out once they're too broken or too dirty or just no longer wanted. Maybe Shuppet decided to possess the doll upon finding it, now feeding off of the doll's 'negative emotions.' And I don't think all the thrown away dolls look the same, but upon possession, Banette will always end up looking like Banette. After all, Banette does not look like some cute doll you'd just . . . cuddle with. So I think that the evolution is just Shuppet possessing a doll and changing its features, while constantly feeding off of its negative emotions, including its growing thirst for revenge. But that's just my theory on it.
Matpat voice: "But that's just a theory. A gAmE tHeOrY."
Hmm, interesting.......
That makes perfect sense. But hey that's..............
Pretty good.....
Pfft, thanks. :)
Hmm. That's really awesome.

Absol's dark type could probably be explained by the trope Dark is not Evil. One weird thing is that the dark type is called the evil type in Japan, despite the fact that not all evil type pokemon are actually evil. Umbreon could be a good example since it evolves from high happiness and really loves it's trainer.
My Question is how does the mean types of people got their pokemon evolved by friendships?
Umbreon was supposed to be Poison
Also, it's weird with the GC games, since they have Shadow Pokemon, which _are_ evil and Shadow is a type of move (but not pokemon).
Beckham Pang seriously?
Another possible explanation however is that what is "good" and "evil" is very subjective. One could argue that informing people of an unavoidable doom or catastrophe is evil as it takes away the happiness for an effected individual for no reason.
You could also argue that being able to sense disaster would require an innate attunement to darkness or evil as such events would commonly accepted as "dark" or "evil".
Slurpuff's appearance
Many real life dog breeds are intentionally bred to have traits that make them look strange and may even be detrimental to their health. The Ugliest Dog competition is basically this taken up to eleven.
Kangaskhan being born with a baby
Aphids can reproduce without mating, and produce offspring so fast; newborn aphids have offspring developing inside them. Kangaskhan could just be an exaggerated version of that, especially since its partly based on marsupials, which have very quick gestation periods.
Absol being a Dark type
It may have originally been a different type (likely Psychic since it can predict disasters). However, being treated like an evil creature forced it to use underhanded tactics to survive, becoming a dark type. Normal decent people who are treated like criminals may end up being forced into the wrong crowd, or even in prison, but they aren't bad people.
Meowth using PayDay
Its possible that Meowth isn't creating the coins, but collecting them from the surrounding area like a metal detector. Its pokedex says that it collects round and shiny objects; it also has the Pick Up Ability.
@@jpruedag There is also the theory, that the big thing is just a decoy and the real pokemon is the baby. One evidence for this could be that in the mega evolution just the baby changes. The same theory exists for komala and his stump.
Another reason is.. well, it’s a game. Does anything really make complete sense in the Pokémon universe?
@@blauesserpiroyal2887 that's a really cool theory
I've always been confused by houndoom. They say it's flames cause burning that never goes away. But one trip to the pokémon center and my pokémon are just find.
g a m e l o g i c
We could always say that the medicine is specifically made to fight off Houndoom's fire.
My guess is that the dex was only referring to the effects of a Houndoom burn on a human
Its not the burning that doesn't go away, its the pain from the burn that never goes away
Cap'n Kirby are you guys serious? you do know that in nature Pokemon Centers don’t exist right? So if a wild Pokemon gets that burning it’s pretty much fucked, that’s what the pokedex is saying
I love that Type Null/Silvally comment:
"You're just Type Null without the mask!"
"...he's on to us!"
Type null is just, not silvally.
The Ahdurin Region the only stat that changes upon "evolution" is the speed. So it's basically the same mon. The true power is the use of the memory drives.
Well yeah... It actually has a very Deep meaning once you think about it.
I think Slowbro and Slowking could fall into this category as well, you don't need a Shellder in your party to evolve Slowpoke into them
Yet you MUST have Remoraid to evolve Mantyke --> Mantine.
or
You MUST have a Poké Ball to evolve Nincada --> Shedinja.
...
But in the show slowpoke sticks his tail in the water for a bit, then comes out a slowbro.
Also I'm sorry but THAT DONT LOOK LIKE A SHELDER and I was surprised when I found it it was a shelder
The shellder on the slowbro tail does not look at all like a shellder.
Liggliluff but it is.
Brock actually had to find a rock to fit in Happiny's pouch.
The coins Meowth throws are those that it has found. Where it found so many is another issue.
Slurpuff is just basically Pokémon World's pug cranked up to 11. Kadabra? Iron from blood? This may actually explain Alakazam's frail body -- anemia along with brain's high oxygen demand make Alakazam narry immobile causing atrophy.
and alakazam can't take any sort of physical attack, by then a good rock throw from a graveler could kill it

i think Silvally being an evolved form is because it’s irreversible, as all forms of Pokémon can be changed back
4:26 actually klinglank's evolutionary line has been said to first appear very recently so its possible its a man-made pokemon or maybe gears that became sentient for whatever reason. My guess would either be that they are robots or that they are brought to life in an electric surge. (They are found in an area with one after all)
Like Magnemite and Voltorb. A;though it's not stated about Magnemite's discovery, Voltorb was discovered when Pokeballs were invented and manufactured.

As for typing... The fairy type. For years Clefairy were utterly destroyed by Fighting move, and then suddenly started resisting it for no good reason.
Or Bite went from not hurting ghost to hurting them super effectively (and being special).
That's the kind of details where it's best not putting too many thought into, honnestly

About Kyurem: many times I see Pokedex having words "it's said to..." which makes me encouraged to NOT take
Pokedex literally, so I see the legend about meteor and Kyurem this way:
This dragon lives in deep caves, forgotten by humanity, eating those who are lost during exploration unprepared.
A meteor strike caused earth disturbance and many Pokemon being agitated or scared, and Kyurem also came out
after an impact
About Slurpuff: oh man, don't you know there are fans of persian cat and pug dog faces?
I think some Snubbul fans wanted a new dog breed and Slurpuff is just a s result of this.
About Remoraid: isn't anyone put off by its anatomy? The tail is really odd, it always seemed "wrong" to me,
but then I found about a slug that looks just like a fish in general shape,so mind blown once you see Phylliroe!
Convergent evolution ftw :D
About Kangaskhan: how about Parthenogenesis?
About Houndoom: maybe it got ears shaped like on lizards? We don't see earholes in reptile Pokemon
and mammals come from reptiles, afterall.
I'm more intrigued by the fact people mistake Voltorb for a pokeball, in the games even for an Electrode!
come one, they are clearly MUCH bigger than a Pokeball, so HOW....???
Unless...they can shrink in size just like Pokeballs D:
I also think Houndoom is similar to a jumping spider's situation... no ears, but can still hear!
Mira55X - Planet Nalzena But spider is an invertebrate and has exoskeleton, while Houndoom is clearly a vertebrate with internal skeleton,
so to me such comparision is WAAYY to Farfetch'd.
Mammals did not come from reptiles. The earliest fully terrestrial tetrapods, such as hylonomus, closley resembled lizards, but they were not part of the class reptilia.
Rather these stem-tetrapods gave rise to two lineages, the synapsids (mammals and their extinct relatives) and the sauropsids (reptiles and birds).
appreciation comment for all of the work you put into these videos, it really shows with every little detail you include
Love the way you put your visuals together Ron, nice.
I may have some explanations for Banette:
1. The thrown away dolls didn't originally look like that. Bannete's pokémon form is simply the personification(pokéfication?) of pure rage and revenge.
2. Ghost types have there own way of "breeding". Being lost souls trapped between the material & spirit worlds, they have an undying desire (get it) to let their will live on just like how some yokais are believed to to be the desires of the dead therefore, ghost types replicate their will with other ghosts giving it a spiritual form which is why when a shuppet evolves, it has that thirst for vengance despite not being thrown away.
I can offer my explanations for some of these.
Silvally: I always saw evolving in Pokémon as a process of maturing. Perhaps Type:Null isn't maturing physically, but mentally. Mental maturity and physical training taught it to control its powers without the need of a mask.
Absol: I tend to believe that the term "Dark" (Evil in the Japanese versions) is a harsh generalization for Pokémon who are weak to Fighting and Bug, and immune to Psychic. I think "Dark" Pokémon are just misunderstood and it's only coincidental that many "Evil" Pokémon have these strengths and weaknesses. I mean, there are plenty of non-dark-types that do pretty messed up things.
Kangaskhan: I don't like thinking about this one. Maybe it gives birth to a clone of itself while inside the egg? A clone that remains in a fetal state? Maybe the younger offspring is used as a spare? Frankly, I find this thought to be nightmarish.
On a side note, I do COMPLETELY agree with you on Cubone. Seems to be an oversight that GF still hasn't fixed or given an explanation for.
I really like your thoughts on Silvally and Absol. #AbsolDidNothingWrong
Sorry, but I could only read half, jk I read the whole thing and I agree
Could you just say it (or at least summarize)? I'm rather curious about your explanation but I kinda don't want to scroll through over 600 comments to find yours.

The adult Banette is a doll that kid threw away as a doll. The Shuppet are the torn fabric of Banette and want to evolve into the full doll. Kid lose there doll in honen because of hoenn has a doll as they meet there love ones because of there many doll in hoenn secret bases replacing them isn’t so hard. My werid canon.
that actually makes a lot of sense
Let me translate that properly. "The adult Banette is a doll some kid threw away. Shuppet are torn fabric of a Banette and want to evolve into a Banette themselves. Kids lose their dolls in Hoenn because they can always replace them with others in their Secret Bases." Is that what you meant?
Kuro Kaji Yes
Don't forget that banette and shuppet are trying to find a kid who threw them away.🙄

I used to not like Absol that much but I always wanted to like it and when I finally used one in Ultra Moon, it became my favorite Pokémon along with Typhlosion.
same. I know it's typing doesn't make much sense, but Absol is still my fav.
I mean. Some animals do have children inside of them fully formed inside of them - i.e aphids
I am uncomfortable.
like yes thank you for saying this
That'll explain Furries....
that must suck
Yeah it’s kinda weird, it’s called Aesexual reproduction, Aphids have so many babies inside babies inside babies, that when they’re born, they just multiply like mad - it’s a great snack for ladybugs
One way to explain Houndoom's lack of ears: I could use it's horns (which would then have to be hollow) to sense vibrations. This would be more similar to the way snakes hear. In fact, one could look to reptiles to explain how many Pokemon could hear without any apparent ears.
horns are not ears idiot
My explanation for every pokedex entry is that they are a collection of origin stories, myths, and beliefs. Like the myths and urban stories we have in Latin America. Of course, they are not scientific but people still believe them and act upon them. For example, in Costa Rica there is a grasshopper like insect we call Esperanza (hope) and when they enter a house you are not allow to kill it... 'cause you are killing hope.

When gladion stole type: null. When it destroyed its helmet because it bonded with him gladion named the 'new' Pokémon silvally (so we are all naming type:null silvally because gladion nicknamed the first type:null)
I love your videos Ron. You put so much effort on every video you upload.
Slurpuff probably have a licking fetish. Or the madman who created it (probably the same pervert that teached Aromatisse to show its leg)
That's the only reasonable explanation I have.
Or it looked like...... *that* because of evolving to bait other Pokemon then attacking them
Slurpuff could have just been bred this way because people thought it looked cute/funny
Kinda like how we in the real world think of chihuahuas or pugs
Remember the story came from gen 1 where team rocket killed its mother so it wear's that in memory of its mother
My theory about komala - what it's dreaming about just so happens to be what's happening in real life.
Surprised you didn't mention that in the anime, Silvally isn't an evolved of Type: Null, it just breaks its restricting helmet. In fact Gladion was calling it Silvally when it still had that helmet on (while it was referred to Type: Null by Faba, who created it) . So yeah, the anime basically showed it didn't turn into a different Pokémon, but that Type: Null and Silvally are the exact same, with the latter being the former freed from its restraints and unlocking more power.
(Sorry 4 the engrish)
I've commented about Absol in another video, but i might as well talk about it too.
My theory is that absol has the dark typing because of their knowledge about evil and disasters.
I thouht about it when i saw a video about knowing when your opponent is cheating. To know when it is happening, then you first need to know how to do it.
Only when you are aware of how evil is made, you will be able to know when it will happen.
But, at the same time, holding this knowledge makes you able to replicate it. Thus, the dark type
Nice
Absol is a dark type because it rarley comes out of its cave. Its used to the darkness of its cave, and its also not uses to being with other pokemon making it not that friendly. Although you make a good point.
If Banette was based on a Tsukumogami, the Shuppets could be the spirits waiting to inhabit the dolls. If children discard the dolls because they think they're scary or too mischievous, that could account for that Pokemon being fairly common
Which is born, WITH A BABY.

Among all the negativity and competitive sides of pokemon I feel like truegreen7 is the truest pokemon fan
I always thought that Shuppet was a being of spite that fuses with any old thrown away toy to become Banette.
Omaigawd your editing is so good!
One explanation I heard about the "mother's skull" bit for Cubone was it was the mother's skull in the sense that she owned it; because she was taking battle trophies from other pokemon she killed and passing them down to her kids.
Wasn't there an episode of Pokemon where Brock had to find a rock for Happiny to put in her pouch? I could have sworn that was an episode.
Edit: Found the episode, right after Happiny hatched. She started crying because she wanted a rock, so Brock went out and found one for her.
6:45 I never even thought about that and now that I realize the stupidity behind it I can't stop laughing XD
Also Banette actually does make sense if you really think about it, maybe the backstory was just referring to how the first Banette of it's kind was "created" if you will. That first Banette then bred with a ditto or maybe there was a rare coincidence that another Banette was created the same way, the Pokemon were then spreading further and further until today
So, first of all, I found your Channel again yesterday, and I remember already watching some of your videos about a year ago. I gotta say, you're one of the most informative, fun and entertaining Pokémon channels to watch! Some great work you do, sir! ^-^
Now that I've said that, second things second... theory to explain Banette (I've thought kinda a lot about this, as it's one of my favorite Pokémon) : Shuppet is apperently some sorta ghost/ghost like entity which, as all of its pokedex entries claim, feeds of feelings of jealousy/the urge to take revenge and so on. What if, upon evolving, these ghosts/entities posses an old/thrown away doll to gain some sort of 'physical' body. As a supernatural being of some kind, Shuppet might be dragged in by/be able to scent the 'emotions' caused by the dolls situation (they are thrown away, left behind, not wanted anymore, etc, which would lead them to, if they were sentient beings, develop a grudge against the child who 'abandoned' them, and therefor they'd want to take revenge).
In this case, Banettes pokedex entries kinda make sense, as they ARE indeed thrown away dolls, and their grudge/feelings of revenge DID indeed bring them to life... Just not in a 'This doll was so angry it went from being an inanimate object to a living creature' kind of way, but rather in a 'This dolls fate drew in some sorta ghostly entity which is now possessing it' kinda way.
Also, Banette is known to be the 'Marionette Pokémon', so... Maybe this refers to how it's a doll controlled/moved my someone else, in this case a ghostly entity... Just like a marionette is usually moved/controlled by a puppeteer.
Edit:
I forgot to mention that, if this would be the case, all of those dolls may have looked differently and stuff, but after being possessed by shuppet and therefor being turned into a Pokémon, they end up looking the same, as all of them are the same species of Pokémon now?
But, oh well... This is just a theory, after all.
You sound like u are super positiv everytime and thats really relaxing to listen to
Since you mentioned pyukumuku’s “mouth”... don’t think that’s a mouth. Unless the anime at some point claimed that it’s a mouth, it’s never actually stated to be a mouth (the games are vague, likely intentionally). Instead, look at sea cucumbers for reference. Sea cucumbers lack eyes (those two dots aren’t necessarily eyes, many creatures have fake eyes to psych out predators). What they do have is a bunch of fluffy looking tentacles outside their mouth to pull food in... that look suspiciously like pyukumuku’s “tail” (as most people would call it). Meaning its mouth is where we assume is the back of it.
So what’s the thing we assume is its mouth? Well, um... what’s on the opposite side of the body as the mouth? Sure enough, real sea cucumbers that have the mechanism “innards out” is based off of expel their intestines... out through their butt.
Finally, when animations draw that particular part of the body, they often use a shape similar to an asterisk. What shape is this “mouth” we’ve been looking at? Similar to an asterisk.
So yeah. It’s quite likely that’s pyukumuku’s rear. That would explain the fluffy “tail” as well, as sea cucumbers lack tails and it would’ve been random for the designers to suddenly decide this sea cucumber should have a tail. :-p
Maybe only the FIRST of each pokemon has that legend.
Like for banette, there was only 1 that came from a doll. Then its offspring are now just regular pokemon.
Or like cubone having his mother's skull would only apply to the first cubone in existence. All its offspring have now adapted to growing skulls over their faces when born.
At least that's what I always thought when I hear these stories
Makes sense
Maybe Banette started out as one Pokémon with that backstory but by breeding it created more of itself, and natural selection eventually gave it a pre-evolution, so not every Banette and Shuppet are the ones with that backstory.
This was a great video! Awesome work!
Overall you of course pointed out some real inconsistencies, but let's try a few:
- technically the Kyurem story could refer to the Original Dragon crushing there, then splitting and Kyurem being the only one remaining in the area;
- taking from your line of thinking, Cubone could absorb/require a huge amount of calcium while the.. process of creation happens from the mother, tangentially weakening her bones, including her skull; so it would figuratively require her skull to exist;
- Banette's story could refer to the first one: coming to life as now an actual creature, it gained the ability to breed and therefore Shuppet and other Banette now exist.
Of course, again, these are stretches and this sort of thing shouldn't be taken too seriously, as it's a mix of lore, rl references and the like, although I do like when they take the biology of a Pokémon seriously; you did a good video.
I think some Dex entries are Fact, some are Folklore, and some are Fiction or just guesses. After all, they were written by people, the least-Pokemon beings in existence. Birch never heard of context or scientific integrity i guess LMAO.
#answer:
Not all banette comes from abandoned doll, not all ghost type pokemon comes from a dead person because they all can breed and evolve. So there might be some ghost type pokemon who has creepy origin, but not all. As for houndooom and other earless pokemon they might have internal ear. And type is just part of their DNA that makes them weak towards some kind of attack. Your explanation on cubone is perfectly make sense. If you want to make sense of pokemon world i hope this can help.
There was a time in the anime where we did see a beldum evolve while in a battle. The episode is called "saved by the beldum" and it does in fact, make another version of itself to evolve, since there's not another one to fuse with.
For your Cubone Entry, you could of mentioned that even though Cubone wears its dead mother's skull, the skull cubone wears looks different from Marowak in terms of size, the Size of the Eye Sockets, overall skull shape and the fact that that the Tooth like protrusions on Cubone is no longer present, good video though
That could be bc when it evolves the skull becomes part of it and changes to fit its evolution better
@@unholymadman7024 But cubone wears it's mother's skull, not it's own, and yet the skull it wears not only fits perfectly despite the size difference, but it looks vastly different from Marowak
@@seandewar47 true
I might have an explanation for some of these.
Birds have holes on the sides of their heads for ears that are covered in feathers. Perhaps houndoom is the same, but with fur instead of feathers.
In the Pokémon sun and moon anime a floating mimikyu is reviled to be an actual ghost. The first banette was probably created similar to this and just bred with another Pokemon in the same egg group.
This might be a stretch, but absol could of gotten it’s typing due to millions of years of evolution, perhaps being an ice or normal type before and changing to defend off certain threats or predators. The fact that its a dark type may of been a reason for people at the time to consider it evil.
Fennekin eats a lot of twigs and sticks so it wouldn’t be to far fetched to say that when it evolved into braixen, some of the sticks it consumed turned into the one it uses.
In an anime episode (I forget which one) team rocket’s meowth looses its “coin” and grows it back by the end of the episode. Meowth probably develop this to be able to rapidly shed and grow these coins in the form of Pay Day. In fact, Amulet Coins are probably the shed coin from a meowth.
The beldum line probably attract wild beldum and metang so they can evolve. Maybe in the form of an “evolution call”.
Hope this might clear things up! Then again, none of these could be true, but we can still guess.
I personally believe Absol’s Dark type is a consequence of it trying to warn people. If there ever comes a scenario where Absol has to make people or Pokémon move to escape an incoming disaster, it would fight using whatever method it can think of, even resorting to dirty fighting so long it’s short and effective.
I always assumed that bit about Banette being born from a thrown-away doll only applied to some of them, namely, the ones that occur naturally. Or maybe they all were like that at one point, then they all started breeding, making little shuppets, and the rest is history.
Braixen stick isn’t so werid to me.
When you realize that Game Freak dont put much attention of detail into their games...
BearBones
I love your videos. Can you do auraguardians starter tierlist? I would love to see that
In regards to houndoom, I think it's a similar concept as with you were saying with hippowdon after all horns are just more rigid hair. So who is to say that it doesn't just pickup vibrations from the air with them and transmit them to an auditory receiver in it's head.
Perhaps Remoraid isn't actually a fish. It could be an octopus mimicking a fish.
I wonder how crobat can hang on caves or trees he has four wings but not legs I know there is very small nible legs but that don't make sense
Sorry crobat (T_T)

Wow Ron, great video! Keep it up, proud of you.
This video was a little weak.... it was kinda scattered and almost all of them can be explained by the fact. It's a game. It takes data to add second forms just to add a baby, it takes even more to make a side quest to find a stupid rock for happinny, plus the anime Does touch on some of these since they cant explain it in the game without drawing the player wayyy off course or only making it available after they complete the game. The only one I Really found interesting is the Absol typing, I really never did think about how it's not Actually dark, except for the fact that game freak wanted their first dark/psychic. But that can kinda be explained too since pokemon can be extremely influenced by their environment. I mean, thousands of years of people treating you like doom could definitely trigger something dark in this psychic type.
Edit: of course breaking out of its confinement makes Silvaly an evolution. You dont crack on kakuna for just "breaking out of its shell" by becoming a bee. And yeah you can argue man made vs natural, but I mean, if I train and fight and become strong enough to punch my way out of a prison meant to keep me in, Hell yeah I'm calling that an evolution.
It's more of a list about ridiculous Pokemon that make no sense at first glance. So these Pokemon having some sort of explanation to their ridiculousness isn't a bad thing. And the video had a pretty understandable pattern. An entry that makes no sense, followed by an honorable mention(s) that do. (until there weren't any honorable mentions left) Hope you enjoyed the video nonetheless, but... Absol isn't a Psychic type.
Abdul is not a psychic type. It is pure dark.
It was explained that the Aether foundation made that armor on its head to restrain its powers. So he's saying before that, it was a Silvally. I understand what you're saying that Kakuna/Metapod are shells that break open to a Beedrill and Butterfree but that isn't the case with Silvally since it was always a Silvally but was forcefully put into an armor because of its powers. So when you think about it, inside the Type:Null armor, it's still Silvally but with its powers restrained. So why is it an evolution when it's technically the same Pokemon? That's the question Mr.Trugreen7 is asking :)
Absol is pure Dark.
How about the fact you can hatch 6 eggs from one egg
Well, they're seeds...
They aren't eggs.....seeds, they "hatch" into trees, and they are grass types......seeds.....
Welp you can hatch seeds from eggs :)
Chris Rice they are not seeds. There is yolk in them
The Shady Scarecrow the "yolk" represents some yellow stuff that seeds have in them
Okay, so Meowth collects coins, likely stores them in its fur or something, and then tosses them. Or, y'know, Pokémon are magic and can maybe just create things at will. Hyper Beam is a Normal move too and yet externalizes pure energy in physical form, which isn't really a thing in our world, so. Saying there should only be one Banette is like saying there should only be one vengeful ghost. If you watch any horror movie where in that universe, something as common as a violent death can always illicit a phantom, it's perfectly feasible that something as typical as a discarded toy can gain sentience in another universe. Especially when you consider Pokémon is a Japanese franchise, and in Japanese folklore any object gains sentience after existing for over a century; Banette could all be hundred year old teddy bears. And as for Houndoom, that can easily just be a design choice for stylized ears. No one ever said they AREN'T ears. Absol...maybe it's an antihero.
I think Meowth live in packs and colect coins and gold and then give them to persian and then persian decideds if they can keep the coins or the persian can keep it.
I know what you mean with Silvally, and I think that it really shouldn’t be an ‘evolution’ but like you said a form change, if they really wanted to, someone could put the restraining helmet back on a Silvally, making them ‘devolve’, or ‘un-evolve’.
15th viewer I love absol one of my fav Pokémon

UMBREON
I believe Absol's Type works because its been chased out refusing to fight back (even mentioning it does not like fighting in US Mega entry) and resist Ghost because it is quite aware to supernatural. Fairy and Bug weaknesses might have to be better explained though. Bug could be because it might not be able to deal with insects in its natural enviroment. And fairy because... its ability to deal with supernatural, might not be very effective against pixie powers???
Just a quick question, I just want to know what is that Pokédex app you’re using?
First lol
No one gives a shit lol
Why the "lol" that isnt even funny
1. Why is this funny? 2. NOBODY CARES
Truegreen7, I know this isn't a question to do with the video, but where do you get the animations of the Pokemon images?
I think Remoraid's evolution makes perfect sense. Remoraid is based off of a remora, which has a suction cup on its head. So, it would make sense that it evolves more suction cups.
Ron, where did you find that amazing original dragon art?!
"I'm gonna rule out all ghost types. So, for our number one...
A ghost type!
Also another explanation I came up with. Type: Null's mask isn't just a hunk of iron. Remember, this restraining mask was based of the exact ornament that presumably restrains Arceus and weakens it. We do know that the ancient humans from the Jewel of Life movie were alchemists, so it's not too hard to believe that The Aether Foundation used some sort of alchemic power to create it. In fact since pokémon ARE alchemic monsters their evolution would be alchemic too, and so would evolution stones, and Z-moves, Mega evolution etc. Most of the alchemic power used by pokémon are powered by strong bonds so it would make sense that the alchemic power of a strong bond can break the alchemic ornament that weakens Type: Null's alchemic power.
Type:Null and Silvally are actually at the same evolutionary stage; Type:Null was originally Type:Full (Silvally). In order to suppress its power, it was bound to equipment that could only be broken in a burst of energy, which could be mistaken for "the light of evolution". So Type:Null isn't actually evolving into Silvally. It's only expending an excessive amount of energy to free itself from its restraints.
I imagine it Swirlix/Slurpuff was bred to be a lapdog with adorable traits, that was pampered and fed confectionery items and desserts-- giving it a strong affinity for such foods.
And if the Vanillite line inspired ice cream cones like the Casteliacone, then would it farfetched to say that Swirlix and Slurpuff inspired cotton candy?
I agree with the idea that Cubone and Marowak's skulls are parts of their body. The bottom part of a turtle/tortoise shell (the plastron) is made of bone. I like to think that some Pokedex entries are local myths and legends that try to explain the origins of Pokemon.
Pay Day is just the coins that Meowth had collected, thrown at targets as a makeshift weapon.
The Beldum line are Psychic-types. They could use telepathy as a means to call others of its kind to evolve-- kind of like how Zygarde Cores summon Cells or how Eevee calls its Eeveelutions when using Extreme Evoboost. I think Diglett also evolves by calling two other Diglett.
A single Binacle is made of two separate beings, and both are required to be in close proximity with each other in order to evolve into Barbaracle as shown in the anime.
About Pokemon who don't have ears: maybe they're just hidden? Birds have ears, but you can't always see them because of their feathers.
Long time no see I am super happy that u made this vid i was worried u finished UA-cam pls never finish
... I have been uploading on the same schedule I've uploaded since I started this channel. I think you just missed a few videos. Go to my channel and check em out.
I like this video! Can you do a second video like this?
Personal opinion on the pokedex and strange pokemon from it:
For the most part, the pokedex is more of a cultural device. It shows stories from all across the globe from centuries ago.
For example: Bannete is a ghost that feeds of fear. Think about it; whats going to be scared the most? Little girls (Or boys, but considering that far more female characters in the anime are scared than male, I doubt this is the case). Then the story was made to explain this.
Cubone may actually be one of two, one is an exoskeleton and the other is a skull. Maybe Alolan Marrowak reflect this? I dunno. Just a thought.
Maybe Banette's entries are based off a popular fairy tale told to kids to keep them out of trouble (in this case, having disregard to their belongings or something) that had been passed down for generations. Many dex entries aren't always fact, some are just based off legends in the pokemon world, so it wouldnt be too out of the question for someone to enter the story as an entry itself.
With Slurpuff, its X entry mentions it helping pastry chefs with its sensitive sense of smell- it could've likely also been bred to look that way purely for a cute pastry like look, and probably in doing so, exposing them to the sweet enviorment would've helped tune its abilities to help these chefs more. Swirlix, being its pre-evolved form, would've also been exposed to so many sweets as a diet purely because of Slurpuff being commonly owned by pastry chefs, and since its a dog theres no doubt in my mind that it would've begged for a sweet snack lol
I dont really know, these just both kind of popped into my head
0:34 what’s the pokemon game that that clips from?
Good video, honestly, at this point trying to find logic in pokemon games is like trying to find an honest politician xD
yeah it's impossible xd
When I was in grade 1 I was a huge Pokemon fan and i liked truegreen7 so much then I forgot him and know I’m in grade 3 and I saw him again and I immediately remembered him again and subscribed even though I’m not a huge Pokemon fan anymore but I’m still a Pokemon fan
Also Latios’s Dex entry says it’s smart enough to understand human speech. But all pokemon can cuz they can understand when trainers tell them what to do.
As Shuppets keep looking for the child who left them, they get scratched up and cut, meaning they have to somehow repair themselves, hence the sudden gain of "arms" and a head-tail. This can also explain Mega-Banette and its zippers, as it gets tired from repairing its bigger rips.
Yeah, Kangaskhan is definitely the pokemon that needs a baby version the most!
Not having ear HOLES does not imply not having EARS. Snakes do not have ear holes, but they still have ears and can hear.
OMG you opened the video with my very favorite GlitchXCity remix! You win this week on UA-cam.
Houndoom's horns are probably hollow, and the hollow spaces inside are its auditory canals. Maybe it has small holes in its horns that allow sound in.
