GET Varsity vs Alma Center 6 29 24

We tried to reverse our negative spiral from game 2 before we took the floor. We talked about being more aggressive and joyous. We then proceeded to miss a lot of shots and basically not go chase down the misses or put forth the effort needed to even compete with this team, who was very fired up to hand us an L. I really lit into them (I don't like to have to do that) at halftime and they responded. We got some stops and turned them over and finally hit some shots and came all the way back from 16 down. Rob blocked some shots and we rebounded much better as a team. Carter caught fire from 3 and Omar hit the game winner with about 7 seconds left. It was what a full team effort should be and that allowed us to go away from the day understanding that we can be good if we play hard. If we don't then we are pretty mediocre at best. Win or lose, they are much more fun to watch when that effort is there!
