I admire and respect your attitude. I suggest you come to Nakornchaisri (where just 30 kms. from BKK) where I live. Remember "Don Wai market" where is one of the most popular market for Thai people (hardly find tourists around). The market is old style and locate on river side. I bet you will love it specilly if you love food. sorry for my poor English

Love your contents, this is exactly what I did when I travelling. Rather than going to touristy places, enjoying the local life style, foods, and interacting with local people are far more impressive. Since you are in that area, maybe make it to Nan. it's lovely little town further north from Lampang. Very few Farang venture up there :)

Small city old town & calm I really like lampang on weekend they have walking street call kard gong ta too many food if y'all want try local food y'all should try moning market anyway I recommend kao man kai near suamdok temple (closed 11 am) & kao soi near ratchada bridge
In Lampang there is a nice Khao Soi restaurant which has a really good beef Khao soi. I can't remember the restaurant name. I haven't been to Lampang since 2020. You can try horse carriage their I think it's about 100 baht per trip but not sure if they increase the price or not. Hope you enjoy your time here 😇

Oh! my mom hometown. My mother's house is in the mountains, but not far from the city. Hang Chat District. The language spoken here is not the same as the common language spoken in Bangkok. Unfortunately, I can't speak the dialect here.
Welcome to lampang my hometown. But I go to chiangmai every month😂😂 for eating or meet friends. LAMPANG is small town good for living but little bit boring. I agree Lampang people are more kind than Chiangmai less stress here. Peaceful and no traffic jam.
For me, noodles in Lampang It is the most delicious noodle in Thailand. It is a traditional noodle dish from the north. There is a unique red chili that is not found in other regions of Thailand. Northern people will eat the most cheesy taste Central and southern Thai people will eat more spicy. Since you add chili like that in the noodles, to be honest, I haven't dared. It must be very spicy😅😅😅🥵🥵
If you like meatballs, you can order only meatballs without noodles and vegetables. I prefer order a normal noodles and another bowl only pure meatballs. I wish you are happy moments in Thailand 😘

Hi both,just come across your channel and subscribed.we are doing a month trip in February starting in Bangkok and finishing in chiang rai(our favorite town)but are calling at remote towns on the way including lampang on the way by train to chiang mai then bus to chiang rai.would love find aunt Lin and say hello also that temple(not the white one)we have pencilled that in.we are pensioners from Derbyshire and looking forward to our return after 5 years,must applaud you on your presentation will catch up on the other blogs.well done!

The language spoken here is not the same as the common language spoken in Bangkok. Unfortunately, I can't speak the dialect here.

For me, noodles in Lampang It is the most delicious noodle in Thailand. It is a traditional noodle dish from the north. There is a unique red chili that is not found in other regions of Thailand. Northern people will eat the most cheesy taste Central and southern Thai people will eat more spicy. Since you add chili like that in the noodles, to be honest, I haven't dared. It must be very spicy😅😅😅🥵🥵

If you like meatballs, you can order only meatballs without noodles and vegetables. I prefer order a normal noodles and another bowl only pure meatballs. I wish you are happy moments in Thailand 😘
