Mike: we have a stump dump at home here also. Great for all that stuff that cannot be cut up. The toads and snake like the dump also. That field will look nice once it starts to go. Take care and stay safe. PS: good that Adam's daughter is growing up learning to work at the business. My son-in-law is teaching my oldest grand daughter all about the boating industry.

My 3 year old grand-daughter helped me dig a pond. She learned the controls for a 16Ton excavator and was digging in under 10 minutes. She dug out the 13' deep center about 60' long and 15' wide in an hour and a half before she got bored. Mentioned because Adam's daughter was digging holes at 3 with an excavator. Would have thought that was impossible, but I think my granddaughter was quicker to learn the controls than I was.

Everytime I think I have found topsoil it ends up being loaded with rock. I don't need rock, I have plenty. I see people with piles of manure but they want so much money. My neighbor down the road the other day was pushing his cows out of the road after they got out again. My wife stopped the car and got out to help him and she asked if we could fish at his large pond. He said sure you two can come fish anytime you want to, just as long as you ask me to let you in. He is 75 years old and his wife told him to get cows but he said he needs to fix all the fences. As soon as my leg heals up I said I can help you. That's what neighbors are for. I never realized he was doing this by himself.

The field really looks great after tilling it. I hope the planted grass will stop the spread of stilt grass. How long does fruit trees take to produce after planting? I honestly don't know. Ten, fifteen years, maybe? Anyway, your human family and your wildlife family will certainly enjoy your forest for years and years. WV cabin, pond, stoning the road, shed expansion. We sure have lots of good stuff coming!! Thanks, Mike!! 👍🚜❤️🙏🇺🇲🇺🇲

Im glad you decided to go with the seed that you did. I know you have a lot of deer on the property so i hope it gets up established before they eat all of it. My clover plot got up to about 3” tall in about 14 days. At 21 days, they had consumed every bit of it. I need a deterrent and r a fence until it gets mature. Good luck. Stay safe everybody
