Mum Aliishia is an autobiographical account of Dorphan's childhood. It's an attempt at trying to understand and appreciate his mom who was separated from his life at an early age. It is also a call of acknowledgment for all the children who've grown/growing without their mothers and a case for the teenage mothers who're forced to choose between their future and their babies.
