- Our country and most countries for that matter have become perennial abodes for oppression and bad news to their citizens. As a result there's been a growing numbness and alienation to the reality of the day. #MinorityReport is an awakening from this consuming apathy that we're engulfed in.

I choose not to lose faith in the young, they're still learning to make sense of a dysfunctional society without much guidance from their predecessors. It might be slow but they're simply striving to establish order in the chaos.
I totally feel you: nor does our education system either formally or otherwise bequeath anyone with the wherewithal to take stock of governance.
You said elsewhere your awareness came via the school of hard knocks; many people go through it and still, it doesn't mould them in the way it has you!
Keep doing what you do: you are a very good example to the youth!
And a shining one.
Your parents are proud of you as they rest eternally.

Thank you very much for the kind words. It means a lot to hear you say that. The real battle is that of the mind and if these words can help arm the young in that regard I'm more than happy to carry that beacon. Clearly conventional education has failed many of us, could be our avant-garde approaches are the way out of this murk.
How we still can't relate to this still amazes me, talk of the daily struggles of being a Kenyan this samples it all
Hopefully we'll change with time. It can be frustrating to see the same mistakes being repeated though.

Patriotism can be relative because even a cop who's brutalizing you will claim it's his/her patriotic duty to maintain law and order. I think it's more about civil/political education to understand what our civil duties and responsibilities are from a young age.
