Hi Graeme. Would you mind putting the date (or roughly the date / time of year) in the description of the videos moving forward? Would really help me understand the best times to go for lake / fishery / stream / river and species type etc etc. Thank you for all you do, Wednesdays and Fridays wouldn’t be the same without you.
Can’t get a bite? Try balancing a red hot cup of coffee between your knees while you put the lid on the flask , a guaranteed method ! Great vid as always 👍
Hi Graeme your videos are brilliant you make it look so easy I’m 68 and just getting back into fishing after 50years look forward to seeing more of your videos all the best Steve perry
More to come hopefully.
Fishing is an art. Good fishing create relations and turns strangers into friends in a few hours.
You’re doing great work. Keep it up.
Friday night viewing sorted!...Thanks as always Graeme!
Hello Graeme, catapults oh thats a subject, is someone having a tooth job lol, always love the angles, the chat huge fan mate, your just made for this, keep going mate.
I picked up some really useful tips in this video👍 I was fishing a small stream today and ended up with loads of stretched maggots, when the bleak moved in. They have a knack of sucking them dry without touching a size 20 hook. But I did catch a couple of them, plus 5 gudgeon, 2 dace, 1 roach and 2 perch. ☺️
At least when you get sucked maggots you know something is at least trying to eat them. Still a marker that fish are in the swim.
Can't beat a circular saw going in the background! The user should have realised he was disturbing angling royalty.
Love watching your videos . Watching them got me fishing again after a 20 year break thank you
Love your float fishing videos!
Well done Graeme another video packed with tips for the youngster and a great refresher course for the experienced angler as well. As always a great watch from start to finish, thanks for posting.
Just trying to help out a few starters/beginners..Fishing is tough enough as it is,a few basic tips might get newcomers an extra fish or two.
Graeme, my friend and I never knew we've been catching both rudd and roach our entire life, we've always just assumed they were roach lol. Thank you for educating us on something so simple hahah
Meeting this man is on my bucket list
😂
Dream big 😂
Happy Friday boy's✌
Spray first, then cast. Yor hook bait will always fall slightly faster than the free offerings because of the weight of the hook so if you want them to arrive at the target depth at same time the free offerings need to go in first followed by the hook bait
Amazing stuff Mr gp smash it again enjoyed watching
Love the content sir, thank you.
I like to use a Maggot bag around my neck especially if I'm not using a bait tray.
BEST FISHING
good vid on you channel thanks lee
And the birds a just walking about watching Graeme fishing.
Have a great year! :)
Great video.... thanks Graeme, every single video you post is interesting, entertaining and packed full fun and enjoyment, I think I'll start bringing a flask and a sandwich with me every time I watch one!
ah man that drennan float at the beginning makes me sad . . . i accidentally knelt on mine while unhooking a fish last week xD
Awesome video
So great you'r boss
top fishing videos brother
great video but damn that type of ground is the worst to put banksticks in 🤣
Is that an old bomb hole? I used to fish one in Cardiff that dropped off really deep and had some big tench in there.
I must kick my wrigglers over every session but hey....gives me something to do whilst waiting for the bite 🤦🏼😂🤣💯❤️
Great fun when the grass is long.they get everywhere.
I use the green ‘matchman’ pult(drennan match pult)for carp fishing i can use it and get a boilie 50 yards
Graeme, I have a question!
I think I've watched all your videos, but I've never seen you using casters as hook bait, is there a reason for this?
Regarding loosing maggots off a barbless hook, I use the soft plastic maggots, they never come off and they catch fish after fish.
I've even caught on them when I haven't used maggots as loose feed or in the groundbait!
I think I did one using casters on the River Stour,Dorset for Roach...Can't remember which of the 960 films it was though..few years back.
hello, I'm here to watch...
👍👍👍
mantapp👍👍👍
Seems like those small fish would make excellent “live” Wels catfish bait, use them under a float, bigger float that is. I don’t know 🤷♂️ what you can use or not use over there but I’m just suggesting the live bait method because that’s what I generally use here to catch Flathead catfish and Bluecats too, mostly flatheads though. Actually you wouldn’t even need to put a live bait under a float, I’ve used about a 2 ft leader of heavy mono and a big swivel and a big enough sinker , like a egg or a no roll even better, just to keep the bait down. But with that long leader it has enough line to kick around and attract a big fish. I don’t know Graeme, that’s just my opinion mate!
I think they do allow livebait on the Catfish lake.I tried it once but never had any luck.I have heard it works though.
Sounds a bit messed up
@@TAFishing - 🤔 hmmm, looks like those Wels would tear up some live bait, in the wild they eat just about everything else, even things as almost big as their mouths. Well, at least the really big ones, like over in Spain, do! They’ve even been filmed preying on live pigeons, near the waters edge.
Graeme, I see you have gone up market with the fishing chair .......... 😄 the TA stripy one finally died?
No way !! its still going strong..well not exactly strong but its still functional.
Sea fishing
Are you allowed to hook thoes little Rudd fish as live bait for catfish or pike?
Some fisheries allow livebait fishing ,but you can't transport them from one place to another. As a general rule they have to be caught at the same place you are fishing. Always check the local fishery regs as they can change. Different countries/different regs etc.
Immoral
15mm them boiles mr p
Can you use cooked rice as tumble baits
I did a film using Rice as a feed to mimic maggots. Also sea anglers use Rice for attracting Black Bream and other smaller species. I did a fishing article in a magazine on Carp fishing when I was over in North Carolina years ago. We caught them on a paste bait they made up called "Rice Duds"...and they worked as well.
Cheers Graeme I will have to give it a go,rice should be brilliant to soak up some serious flavour and once ready to use I will freeze it, could do sweet flavour like boillies or fish juice with oils because rice really sucks up that flavour, cheers pal thanks for replying.
I got some fishing binocular glasses recently to see far out floats cuz I use the polaris, cheap tat didn’t expect them to work but they’re actually pretty darn good, well worth £6.99
Never heard of those, but sounds like they work.
Locslide is far better
@@Paulforsilvers it was locslide
I wonder if the bottom is very black silt so the fish are naturally dark to hide from predators Graeme?
No, it'll just be the strain of carp in the lake. The clarity of the water can affect how strongly coloured a carp is because like us their skin goes darker when exposed to sunlight so those in gin clear water will be darker and those in coloured water will be more pale. This difference is noticeable in summer/winter where the same fish will appear to be more pale in summer when the water is clouded by fish activity and algal blooms and darker in winter when the algae has died off and the activity has reduced.
Hi Graham
Black Mirror must be a cross breed ?
One on the dark side......
You would have caught a lot more fish if you didn't feed them all before you started fishing. Their belly's was full before you started. 😂
