I find this totally inspirational. I only commenced fishing 3 or 4 years ago, partly because I had retired from a rewarding career and partly to help me recover from serious illness. Yesterday I was freelining prawns and bagged a 2lb perch. You have taught me so much. I am now regularly bringing in double lb carp thanks to you. Totally awesome indeed. And adored the one man shark fishing master class. Keep em coming, Graeme and Mike. Holy shmoly
these days I am way more of a sea angling, but I have to say Mr. G something about float fishing on an old pond brings me back to when I was a boy and is just so relaxing what a classic setting! Awesome session sir
This is. A lovely lake, I watched your first video and decided to go here and loved the day even fished the baileys no1 and bran😀very peaceful Thanks Graeme keep up the good work
Used to love my Subaru Legacy estate car for overnight fishing. As I got older, I switched to a small lorry. Just the right size for a mattress in the back, with plenty of space for the gear. Plus it's easier to get in with arthritis.
That's the kind of fishing I like, mixed and never sure what you will catch next. That lake/pond looks so inviting, the swims look nicely laid out and there is enough larger fish to keep your interest. Well done Graeme on another awesome video.
Thank you Mr greame pullen. Always enjoy your vids and tips, Old school angling. I spent my childhood fishing dudsbury heights down to parley bridge and beyond. Im sure that you have fished the same area with your sink and twitching sprat for pike. Used the same method myself as a kid. Sprats were always so cheap and effective. Besides that was all i could afford on my pocket money. Always a pleasure. Tight lines.
What a beautiful place to fish . I love it when the mist is just rising when I start fishing somehow this is a sign I feel it's going to be a great session.
Love the show graham an honest fisher man knows what hes doin conpared to the other fishing machines iobsessed with carp thank god we dont have to many in ireland! Just every thing else
Graeme. You are a tease. I used to love float fishing but can no longer fish due to ill health. Be a pal and show us some action footage of the float in the water. I'd have loved to see that antenna float rising in the water on a lift bite or sliding away.
I’ve probably spent more nights in my 1.1l Kia Picanto Hatchback, cuddled up with rods and tackle, than I have in my own bed. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s a nice fishery as well, different to the (usual) hole in the ground commercials. Well done graeme
Thank you for your inputs. I prefer your type of fishing than the ones who have 32 top parts to their pole and every add on you could imagine. Simple but proven without spending a fortune on bait or tackle.
Looked really good to just spend time at such a lovely place. ... where were all the other anglers. I would have spent so much time at a place such as this as a kid 🤔 and still do as ive not grown up yet at 64. Great video Graham thanks for sharing.
Looks a great little venue with a great mix of species not just carp and good that ur fishing for different species and not just carp this obsession with carp has taken over fishing and has not been great for so many waters
Thats a great looking pond, very much like the one I will go tomorrow Graeme, loved this video and you have so much knowledge, always full of fun and content, keep them coming mate.
Here's the thing you don't need a ton of money to fish our ancestors used a stick and wound up grass as string to fish after the spear, fishing is fun I understand some people like to take it very seriously but I do it for relaxation, meditation and the awesome taste it brings and the joy of the fight of reeling it in.
Lovely Perch there Graeme I really want a few of those, though I've been mainly after big Bream and Carp lately. One tip if you want to avoid getting wet by the fish when releasing them, just release them with your landing net. Nice video and nice little lake there 👍
Hi I am enjoying your trips fishing very much I now have all the gear for course fishing but my time scale will only be half days max and have float and feeder rods and rigs ready to go just bought licence and live in Swindon so been looking at near by locations and of course will go with a person of knowledge as not to damage fish hopefully go fishing before November some stuff has been gifted from people and want to fish with out to much stuff
Tried your shore conger trick last nt Letter for letter We had seen over the years lots on the high slack so thought to Give it a go An hour into the ebb and result in form of a Small conger The beach has more big Mackeral than I've seen in twenty yr But boats out off Newhaven are doing nothing really So that's on you that eel Cheers I hope your all well Healthy and all that stuff Be lucky Pete
Excellent session Graham 👏 👌 👍 as always leading the way for fishing utube channels 100% the best with the mixture and depth of content When's the next beach trip from the shore?
Hi Graeme, thanks for another totally awesome video ! I’ve been catching up with all your videos over the last few weeks, and I’m now totally addicted!! I haven’t been fishing for just over twenty years, but just bought a match rod and a carp rod, and am going to a local commercial fishery at the end of the month - can’t wait ! 🐟🐟 Not sure what tactic to use though, any advice ? Keep up the great work, your videos are better than anything on tv 😃👍🏼
Great educational and entertaining video. Love your channel - Just became a new Subscriber today! Question: re: adding a piece of rubber band to the end of the hook tip, (to help keep the bait on a barbless hook), does it matter how far you slide the rubber band up the hook after the point? Wondering if the rubber band might take away the amount of the hook entering the fish’s mouth past the rubber band? Sry if my Question was too confusing. Thanks Joe
Highly Appreciated graeme thankyou for your killer tips much love from the us westcoast. been doing your sweet shark tips. Have you ever tried freshly made corn flour dough ball baits for carp?
Go for it Laura. Ask at your local tackle shop. There may be a guide/teacher who can give basic tips/lesson to get you started or if you have some lakes nearby they may have an on-site tackle shop where you can ask. Then it's just a case of learning as you go. That's half the fun all whilst you get to enjoy being outside.
I'm ashamed to say I've never used a barbless hook nor did any of my fishing partners over the years. It just wasn't thought about growing up and as a adult...
The UK species are shy, light biting fish and require delicate tackle and baits. Here in the US, our fish usually aren't so shy and so a giant golfball sized, red and white bobber will work. You can find waggler floats and antenna floats in some tackle shops, and online. I use them for trout and panfish here in the States, and once I learned how to use the European style floats, I started catching more fish!
It is probably an educated duck who knows that bread is not good for him, and he shouldn't eat it. It follows that you should not give bread to ducks. Rolled maize, oats, rice, grapes, peas, and lettuce are all nutritious and safe for ducks to eat. Not bread or crackers that can make ducks ill and which have no nutritional value for them.
Graeme’s computer is still being repaired so he can’t get back to comments but it should be fixed soon! Thanks for watching - Mike
Going to to have to send your dad a care package with some more exciting tinned foods. That spag boll........
Tell him to stop watching those adult films online then 😄..
Has he tried giving it a thump and swearing at it?
I think it might be fixed by rubbing it in Baileys No 1 ...
Smith been looking at that naughty stuff on it

Got to love GP. Just a lovely, knowledgeable, nice traditional Brit. Love him to bits. The grandad I never had.
I love all your films G but for some reason this one has been my favourite ever. Not sure why. Might be the early morning calmness. Really good.
This is. A lovely lake, I watched your first video and decided to go here and loved the day even fished the baileys no1 and bran😀very peaceful Thanks Graeme keep up the good work
You brought the tongs! Beautiful spot and beautiful fish, thanks Graeme.
You are an excellent professional fisherman, you only catch big fish, congratulations.
Your fishing gear is amazing.

Didn't know Bruce Forsyth could fish. Good video good video

lovely place to fish - what a view to wake up to, thanks for the video.
At 43' 45" that piece of bread on the hook could have fed the five thousand. Great video as always.

You're very lucky to be able to park on your swim. It's rare.

Was Bass fishing off the shore in County Cork just 48 hours ago
Graeme !! Shame on you where's the daddies sauce on that ciabatta with bacon and eggs it's a must
Very correct. Nothing else is acceptable.
Hi Graham is that not the place you caught that grass carp ln your opening titles last year some fish that was
The duck may be on a low carb diet . Probably prefers a slice of avocado.Trendy waterfowl.

Thanks
Joe
I slide it well up to the bend of the hook so the point is clear.
This is so relaxing, thank you. Are you allowed to keep some of those perch to use as cut baits?
We're to in Somerset was you fishing I live in Somerset
A close up of a float on a pond is summer to me.
Highly Appreciated graeme thankyou for your killer tips much love from the us westcoast. been doing your sweet shark tips. Have you ever tried freshly made corn flour dough ball baits for carp?
A good place to fish is somerton viaducts there are a few lakes i have fished on and i have caught a 18 pound carp on sweetcorn there.
I find it works best on float just below the surface and In the margins
A duck that doesn’t want your bread right in front of him!?! You know what that is? Fowl portents I’d say. Fowl portent.
You are the greatest (y) :)
Sorry...did you say the owner of the fishery is Mike Oxlong?
somebody shld do a vid of fishing the old ponds wen we were kids
👌👌👌
Graeme some fishers won’t let you use bread sweetcorn they tell you what to use why when I was fishing in the late 70 I used e very thing
If it catches fish it usually gets banned. as you say we never had the problem years ago...we just went fishing.
Hi love your videos, I’m a 53 year old woman and I want to start fishing, any advice.?

First whoop whoop 🙌
Do you ever use a bobber float? Here in the US I haven't seen floats like you use.

When you going out in your boat next !?
Can't net a bream, so slimy.
Blow up thing....

christ sake, stop avin fry ups! im having to pause the video to get bacon and eggs and im fat enough as it is lol
a lump of pallet wood will fix the computer,,
What kind of person dislikes these videos
People who think you needs thousands of pounds worth of tackle to catch fish?
I wouldnt call it tiny exactly....
