Our meal plan is:
Wednesday: Chilaquiles, Dinner: Pork Chops, Mashed Potatoes, Apple Sauce & Salad
Thursday: Ham & Cheese Pinwheels & Strawberries, Dinner: Lentils, Rice & Cucumbers
Friday: Potatoes & Bacon, Chives, Lettuce, Tomato, Dinner: Tuesday Chicken, Rice, Salad with homemade Ranch & Peas
Saturday: Sandwiches w/ juice, chips & grapes, Dinner: Fettuccine Alfredo w Broccoli.
Sunday: Easter Lunch: Ham, Corn, Hot Cross Buns, Walnut, Pear & Gorgonzola Salad, Carrot Cake
Monday: Spaghetti & Meat Balls Salad & Bread
Tuesday: Burritos, Dinner: Costco Food (Hot Dogs & Salad)
We shopped on Tuesday & Wednesday this week at Costco in Harlem & Trader Joe's on the Upper West Side. We also shop at Lincoln Market.
We bring Anna (11), Enoch (7), Melody (5), Moses (2) & Neta (3 months)

You can't help but smile when Enoch tells his parents thank you and how much he loves every snack that he is allowed to pick out for himself. He is the most polite little boy .........

I love how your older kids dote on the baby! My two older kids were 9 and 7 when my third one was born, and the two older ones loved on her all the time! They’re grown and gone now-sweet memories!

Y’all should pick up a pound of yeast at Cosco and keep it in the freezer(put the bag in a ziplock bag once opened) stays fresh in freezer for ages and more economical

I noticed the Aldi sign as you guys were coming out of Costco for the first time. Have you ever tried that store out? Our local Aldi has a lot of organic items and affordable prices. I can't buy all we need there, but I do grab a good bit there and it saves me a lot!
I was going to say the same thing. Aldi has some great deals and carries many organic and healthier options and I'm sure they are less expensive than Lincoln market. They also have a great selection of cheese
I agree Aldi is a great store.
Yes I went there but it wasn’t very well stocked. Maybe because there is a lot of shoplifting in that mall, but I want to try again!

You can grow ginger by planting it in the garden..apparentky..mines still stored in the fridge lol
I think the bad thing in a lot of non-organic oats and other crops is glyphosate (Roundup). They spray crops to kill off the foliage making it easier to harvest.

Are u able to turn neta outward? She seems to be very interested in seeing all the city lights. I’m so out of it when it comes to baby gadgets but they used to make these where u can face the baby out and they can see everything u see. Also really love that u put classical music in ur vlogs!!

I'm always surprised at how early your supermarkets close especially in New York. In my country most are open until 12am or are 24 hrs. Most of our Kmart stores (not a supermarket but similar to non food items you can get at your supermarkets) are open 24 hrs 7 days a week.

Have you got garden centres to buy seedlings in ny? We havevplanted baby cabbages, silverbeetz, beetroot, and cauliflower for winter and our 11 chooks are down to four eggs a day with autumn here. I feel quite envious of you going to summer!! X

Just fyi, my Costco is carrying an organic California extra virgin olive oil for about $15. I remember Ina Garten saying a long time ago that she loved the CA olive oil so that’s good enough for me!😜Now back to your video…

I saw that you have an Aldi close to Costco. Have you tried to shop there? They have a lot of organic, clean ingredients and a lot of things you buy from Trader Joe and Lincoln but better prices.
Their chips are as good, if not better than, name brands. I don’t usually buy off brand, but o so at Aldi. All their items are good. Plus big bags nuts and their chocolate from Germany is so good and super cheap. Can’t go wrong with Aldi. We just got one in my little town, I’d never shopped before there.

I absolutely miss the combo pizza at Costco, as well! I miss all the things that got taken off of menus everywhere. Olive Garden took all of my favorite dishes away and now they don’t really have anything I enjoy. It’s just sad!

Would it be too difficult to get everyone their own waterbottles to keep refilling? I worry about the additional plastic going into landfills every time you buy a slab of water bottles. Not criticising, your family is exemplary in just about every way.

All those drinks have artificial sweetener which very bad her children are fine drinking regular coke
Aw thank you! Yes they are not in love with artificial sweetener, but I love Diet Coke but I had to stop drinking it because it seemed to give me cavities! I have no idea why because it was sugar free. I think the doctor said the acid or carbonation or something was a problem for my teeth. But maybe I just have weak enamel.

I just wanted to let you know, be very careful with that type of sling carrier for your baby.
Its fine if the baby is awake and moving around.
But if your baby falls asleep, and their chin rests on the chest, it can cut off the baby's airway.
A few years ago I saw a news story, a mom thought her baby was just sleeping, but when she went to take the baby out of the carrier, the baby had already passed away. 😢

Not everyone drinks soda. I personally think drinking milk is much better for those children. I am a believer in water. No soft drinks in our home. Our children are grown with children but all of them drink water. I have never missed a video and believe me they get treats. Great parenting. Love this family.

Yes! I would prefer to be soda free but I’m trying to strike a balance too. So our compromise is one can a week. When I grew up it was one can a day haha…. But that was the 80s before we knew better.

May I ask how with 13 of you how you afford to buy mostly organic goods as its costs so much more?? We are 2 and can't do that.. does the busking pay for your groceries??
We don’t buy much organic unfortunately, but we all work to keep the bills paid. But we also try to eat a lot of beans because that’s a healthy cheap source of protein. Marc works at a sign company called ASI in midtown. I do social media. The kids play music (busking and gigs). Sometimes I make ads for businesses too.
