@@annadm yes, it's only on catalog, but for cash redeem there are no charges as far as I know. I have not cashed in the last 2-3 months though, so this could have been changed.

This card is of no use now after this capping of 1000 rupees better to use sbi cashback or amazon and flipkart credit cards

Yes it is much better than millennia
In many cases millenia is better but in other cases cashback is also gud , so for me both are number , if I have to give marks then 49 points to cashback card and 51 to millenia, reason is simple, in millenia u get a lot more 1% cashback on all transactions, 5% cashback on shopping , 4000 rs voucher yearly, other than this many offers on email

Just apply for Millennia,
There are 90% chances that you can get Millennia with the same limit.
There is no option for upgradation or it will take a long time.

If u have moneback then u can't apply hdfc credit card other than co brand card like tata neu , Swiggy , etc. So u will not be able to apply for millenia
So follow this steps u will get defiantly, mostly moneback card is life time free so use this card regularly for atleast 11 month , but after 6 month completed Send email to hdfc email department for upgrade they will reject by giving some stupid example , so atleast wait for 11 month , they will call u if u are eligible or else u send them email for upgrade, if they are not giving u card then ask them to close the card permanently , tyey will upgrade u , if not then close card permanently then again apply for fresh card.
