Watching optic throw maps against faze over and over again is just heartbreaking. Faze were the better team in the major by far but optic really came out looking better today and because of a few choked situations, didn’t get the win. Hopefully the boys can sort those issues because I can’t see them beating faze this year or even winning a major with the mistake they make (mistakes they only seem to make against faze as well)

I think OpTic are comfortably the 2nd best team in the league. They've handily beaten both Ultra and NYSL on LAN but just can't get past their boogeyman. I would've agreed had they not changed half their team, but Kenny and Pred always perform on LAN, with Kenny's teams historically performing well on LAN near the end of the season.

Personally, and again maybe this is a faded take, but I don't think the problem is a single player ever. Optic seemingly everytime they play HP against this faze team always get overwhelmed in the beginning end up behind like 100 points and bring it back. It happened twice in the grand finals and again on the Rio. It's like they try to square up and decide to slow down and play correct cod after realizing they aren't going to be able to out slay. A lot of these series would likely have gone the other way if they start their HPs the same way they finish them. If they didn't have to bring back a 100 point gap they would've won Rio by a landslide
Going back and looking at all of their matchups on the season so far it seems like a common trend that they start the HPs from behind and come back into the HP to end it in a close map, not everytime, but enough times to think that some of the series could've had different endings. Definitely wouldn't be 0-6 in matches

Pred and Kenny need to play SnD challs, neither of them look comfortable on the map. Especially on this high rise it was clear shotzzy and dashy knew how to play it but Pred played odd and Kenny just horrible at SnD

Reduce the amount of time you can hold your breathfrom 10- 15 seconds? No, the refresh after you come up needs to be slower that’s the problem. They can pop up for a millisecond and then their breath refreshes

We may never think optic will win a matchup but the fact these maps are so close and a play or two away from a totally different result shouldn’t be so easily disregarded. Comparing Simp and AG saying they had a similar series kd wise but calling simp more impactful is easy to say when faze is playing objectively worse cod though no? You guys said it before saying that faze played significantly worse cod then optic in this series so it's easier to notice simps impact when they're relying on slaying. Maybe I'm faded for saying that?
Personally, and again maybe this is a faded take, but I don't think the problem is a single player ever. Optic seemingly everytime they play HP against this faze team always get overwhelmed in the beginning end up behind like 100 points and bring it back. It happened twice in the grand finals and again on the Rio. It's like they try to square up and decide to slow down and play correct cod after realizing they aren't going to be able to out slay. A lot of these series would likely have gone the other way if they start their HPs the same way they finish them. If they didn't have to bring back a 100 point gap they would've won Rio by a landslide
Going back and looking at all of their matchups on the season so far it seems like a common trend that they start the HPs from behind and come back into the HP to end it in a close map, not everytime, but enough times to think that some of the series could've had different endings. Definitely wouldn't be 0-6 in matches
As an optic fan we need to make some roster changes before champs. I can’t see us winning a major anytime soon with this weak minded team.

I’m a faze fan but idk who they’d replace and who’d they replace that person with. Those optic players are probably the best players in the league outside of a very select few on the other T4 teams. And there’s no real talent to just pick up right now to replace one of the optic players with

Don’t need a roster change they just need to fix these fatal game losing mistakes they make throughout the game. I don’t think we could realistically get this team better (without spending millions). I think we have the right people just need to limit mistakes against faze. Optic really looked good last night but threw the game multiple times
