    Chile Verde Pork Chops
    Ingredients:
8 bone in thick cut pork chops
    1 lb Jalapeno chili's
    1 lb Serrano Chili's
    1 medium onion
    1 garlic bulb
1/4 c canola or oil of preference
    1 cup flour for dredge
    1 Tbsp. Granulated chicken bouillon
    1 Tbsp. Oregano
    1tsp black pepper
    1 tsp lawrey garlic salt
    1 tsp cumin
    Preheat oven to 350°
Place peppers, onion cut in half, and garlic peeled on a tray and roast until fragrant . Check at 30 minutes turn with spatula and roast about 20 minutes or until chil begins to char, watch carefully. Remove from oven cool and remove stems. ( Reserve left over chili in a ziplock in freezer or blend and add to your sauce if you like more spicy heat)
In heavy frying pan add oil on med high heat until hot .(I use cast iron because it goes directly into oven)
Prepare chops : sprinkle with garlic salt, pepper and cumin just enough to cover each side of chops. ( About 1tsp )
Place flour in shallow dish and lightly dredge chops in flour , place in hot oil and fry 4 minutes on each side until caramelized and golden brown.
In blender , add onion, garlic and 8-10 jalapeno,8- 10 Serrano peppers , add Oregano , boullion powder and about 1 cup water and blend until smooth, pour in 3 more cups of water in blender ,blend until smooth an pour into pork chops one you fried them on both sides.
Place oven proof skillet in oven at 350° for 30 minutes.
*You may also cook your pork chops in an air fryer if you have one for a total of 12 minutes. After you season your pork chops cook them 6 minutes on each side in air fryer at 380°
Place them in the heated Chile Verde
    sauce.

I came here after watching Tammy of Collard Valley Cooks make the Mexican Rice. I wanted to see the Grape Jelly Meatballs video but couldn't watch it. What is a "short" and how do you watch it? Congratulations on all the subscriptions-I see you're almost at 18K!!!!!

Welcome! Thanks for coming on over and shorts are usually minute or so long videos and I think you should just have to click on it and it should play. And yes! It's very exciting! I would have never thought I'd be at this point 😃

Hi Deb, since I can’t have Chile type spice can you tell me what type of pepper to use?
I will be praying for your whole family especially your husband.
I love your type of food but just need what to use instead of hot peppers. 😊🙏🏼

My sauce is too spicey…suggestions how to tone it down without making it too runny?

Maybe some tomatoes or sour cream or guacamole might help.
