Six engines power this mighty long mixed freight train up a 3% grade and back down. The engines of the consist in order: The lead engine #3512 is an Atlas GP40-2. #921 is an Athearn Genesis F7. #3557 is an Athearn Genesis GP40-2. #3503 is an Atlas GP40-2. #3515 is an Atlas GP40-2. #918 is an Athearn Genesis F7 (also seen as a mid-train helper).

I'm assuming this freight train is modeled with the Western Pacific one year before it's merger with Union Pacific which was 1983

That is correct! This train is modeling 1982, the year before the merge.

Who owns those models? They're pretty damn impressive, even more so by the Loksound Atlas units speed matched with the Tsunami2 Athearns

These models are one of my friends from back home. I did the speed matching, wasn’t too tough, but definitely takes time
