-Seats and overheads already removed by licensed commercial shop.
-Coach FRESHLY painted white.
-New injectors just done by licensed commercial shop in 09/2021.
-Currently DOT inspected in 09/2021 before removal of seats and overheads by licensed commercial shop.
-Owned and operated in NC since new by large charter bus company with all records.
Coach would be perfect for RV conversion or party bus conversion. Seller bought with intentions to covert to RV, but has decided due to time restraints they want to go a different route. Coach has no known issues and is ready for next life. No conversion work has be done aside from removal of seats and overheads by the commercial shop. Current owner never took possession of the coach from the shop where work was performed.

Is a CDL required to purchase/drive off of the lot with no seats? Or this no longer considered a commercial vehicle?
This is a great question and varies by state and many variables. Feel free to reach out to us to discuss by phone and we will do our best to answer this question and any others that you may have.
For starters if this vehicle is over 26000 Lbs, Most likely it will require a special license. Go to the DMV website of your state. In many states this will require (if over 26K lbs) a Non Commercial Class B CDL license.
As far as I know no state requires a CDL for motorhome/personal use, but some states do require an endorsement of some sort. However from what I know some states require no license other than a normal driver licenses from what I have been told. That said I have resources I can provide for each state, but I also encourage everybody to reach out to their local DMV for perfect clarification.
@@HolidayCoachandAutoSales ...That's correct. NO CDL is needed. That's why I said a Class B Non Commercial. Where did I lose you? Before you take the Non CDL class B exam in Texas it is recommended you Study section 14 of the COMMERCIAL DRIVERS HANDBOOK (CDL), and also read sections 1,3,5, because the test is not ONLY section 14, as they would have you believe.
@@FunDuude didn't lose me... We are in agreement on this one. Replied to say that most states from my reading require nothing. Texas where I am guessing you live does and is one of the very few that do. Also replied to say I have resources for each state that I can share...

We made this video when we had about 10 MCI 102DL3s for sale to show what they would look like gutted out and ready for conversion. Buyers were asking about space and what to expect and this video is to show what to expect. We also use it to show customers in general what a gutted passenger coach looks like.
At almost 20,000 views and 200+ likes I am happy to say it is doing more than we could have expected and hopefully helping more people than we ever imagine.

This is not a conversion.
This coach was a passenger coach that the seats, overheads, and insides were gutted out for a conversion buyer of ours. It is currently in progress of being converted in to a custom motorhome as we speak.
