Mattress recommendation: tough to needle mattresses are sooo comfy and they usually aren’t that expensive but your moving in soon and they can take a while to deliver. I’ve never gone “Furniture shopping.” Mattresses are the only thing that I’ve bought new. In my first marriage, friends gave us a couch. Once we got rid of that, we were walking through Sears and saw a couch and bought it. In my 2nd marriage my hubby had all new furniture and that was it. I love redoing furniture so any changes to our place, I’ve used furniture pieces that I’ve done. Can’t wait to see your house!! So exciting!! Have a great week!!🥰

I think Abbie has passed that initial shock of how quickly everything happened. Great to see Abbie I’m proud of you. It’s very overwhelming when you fall pregnant the first time u try. I had the same experience, it’s an absolute blessing but your brain still needs to catch up. ❤️
It really is. I got pregnant after the second month of trying. I had heard it can take a year and after it didn’t work the first month I thought it would take a lot longer.

As a person who had a metal bed frame for most of her life and just recently switched over to one with full coverage (no holes or gaps), I do not recommend a metal bed frame. It might look cool but it is way easier and more comfortable to have that support on your back if you want to sit up in bed.
Yes!! Costco is amazing! My parents found this mattress topper from there that is SO cozy. Every night I feel like I sleep on a cloud. Definitely check them out for your new house! Love you both! ❤️
Ikea has nice wooden trundle beds if you want the extra pull out bed for guests! They also have nice clean, modern, neutral tv stands for a fraction of the price of that furniture store so if you switch your decor later it doesn’t hurt as much
For online furniture, sometimes a deal, isn’t. Make sure it is USA based because it can take months for a piece to arrive from China. Make sure it is returnable. With that said, we have had great luck with Wayfair. Carissa Nunez is a blogger on UA-cam that does incredible decorating on a budget. Love following along in your excitement!

Not sure if you already bought Bed frames but I have a metal head board and it’s great. Never have to worry about stains or anything. I don’t feel it through pillows but if you lean against (like reading in bed) I just put a pillow behind me. All and all it’s great

Dining bench suggestion: consider how much you like to lean back at the dining table. My family+ is big on eating and then just chillaxing and leaning back to just talk. My husband’s family did benches (they had 9 kids) and the benches always made our backs sore lol.
For the bundle bed, I agree with Matt. I have stayed at VRBOs with those types of bed, and I haven’t liked it. I’d prefer a couch that pulls out or a real bed. I’m so excited for you guys! You’re house is going to look fantastic.

For future decor...you can find a carpet you like and, get it cut to size, and have the edges bonded if you don't like the rug options you find.

With the baby coming you should look at Ruggable for rugs.. they can be washed at home so if anything spills it's easy to clean.
