    This is my 4th time lapse of Factorio. Played on a custom RedMew scenario I edited. The map is in the form of a rectangular spiral, I can't get pass the empty spaces, plus an edited version of the deathworld preset, which makes the bitter spawners be very close one another. Plus the 30 new science packs mod to make things more challenging. Hope you enjoy the video and tell me what you think.
    List of mods:
    Credo Time Lapse Mod 0.16.0
    EvoGUI 0.4.302
    Laser Beam Turrets 0.2.0
    30 New Science Packs 0.0.36
    Squeak Through 1.2.2
    Train Ore Color 1.2.0
    Visible Bots 0.4.2
    Base 0.16.51
    Long Reach 0.0.12
    Miniloader 1.6.5
    OP Train Speed 1.0.9
    RSO 3.8.1
    74 hours of gameplay, 1 screenshot per minute, 4377 screenshots (170 GB)
    Every screenshot was taken at 7680x4320 (8K), 32 bit depth. (40 MB each)
    I used Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018 to make the time lapse and edit the video.
    The produced video is on 7680x4320 (16:9 8K UHD), 29.97 fps, AAC audio.
    Video size is 10.66 GB. It took 3 hours to render and 11 hours to upload.
    Thank you so much for all the love and Support .

    How to play this scenario:
    To play this scenario, download RedMew's scenario: github.com/Refactorio/RedMew and inside the "map_layout.lua" file, search for "--shape = b.rectangular_spiral(128)" and change it to "shape = b.rectangular_spiral(90)", that will give you a rectangular spiral map gen with the width of 90 tiles, then for the edited deathworld preset, which change the spawn rate of the bitter and other more things, search for "--require "map_gen.terrain.deathworld"," and change it to "require "map_gen.terrain.deathworld",". Save the file and paste the "RedMew-develop folder inside your "...\AppData\Roaming\Factorio\scenarios\". Then ingame play from scenario, and chose "RedMew-develop", then from there you can change all the setting you want, you can even play it with the Alien Biomes mod, and it will work.

    Ok, I love factorio, engineering, design and automation, but it's astounding what people sometimes create. Some do it in Minecraft, some do it in Factorio, and there aren't many games that allow creating insane things.

      True... Give people a game with NAND gates and boolean circuits and someone is guaranteed to build a full computer in the game itself at some point. And factorio make building circuit/chips not too much of a pain.
      I've seen someone make the Darude - Sandstorm music video play on a light display in factorio. And some dude made a playable arcade Pacman game, with animation...
      Games like Factorio are simply wonderful things. Anyone can find a fun thing to do in it.

    • @Vueltero
      @Vueltero  5 років тому +1

      inside the "map_layout.lua" file, search for "--shape = b.rectangular_spiral(128)" and change it to "shape = b.rectangular_spiral(90)", that will give you a rectangular spiral map gen with the width of 90 tiles, then for the edited deathworld preset, which change the spawn rate of the bitter and other more things, search for "--require "map_gen.terrain.deathworld"," and change it to "require "map_gen.terrain.deathworld",". Save the file and paste the "RedMew-develop folder inside your "...\AppData\Roaming\Factorio\scenarios\". Then ingame play from scenario, select redmew's and thats it.

      kinda, I suggest you look at the "DEF CON 24 - Hacker Fundamentals and Cutting Through Abstraction" (how to build a processor in 10 min or less) talk
      basically, each block is abstracted and reproduced an amount of time and joined to other blocks to then form bigger blocks, loop n times, and you have a cpu, or a factorio factory.

    • @Vueltero
      @Vueltero  5 років тому +2

      I did get it by trains from the starter lake. In 4:46 you can see I had to do a massive water storage for the nukear power to feed. I had to do a lot of sub-stations blocks for massive storages for resources and other materials
      during the run. One rail for left and one for right was such a traffic jam for the amout of trains I had, so I had to do storages for everything, and it mostly worked over time
