    Would we get points taken off of FRQs if we use the equation with the Coulomb constant k instead of 1/(4 pi epsilon) ?

      No. If the physics is correct, you will get points. k and 1/(4 pi epsilon) are equivalent, so you can use either one.

    Don't we need to point out that the electric field is just the electrostatic force caused by all the charges present except the positive test charge divided by the test charge quantity? Just clarifying.
