Are HS mandatory for glen HM? When I was doing some practise runs as a HS I found that people died to quickly before I could heal them. It seemed the main way to survive was mana shield and full recovery pots. Also how do you become more tanky as an elemental knight (Human)? Even with blunting field and dampen shock, I found that I was getting melted by mobs if I didnt have mana shield on. I'm not sure how much fortification would help and cater, and if there are any other reforges/enchants that would help. I know the general recommendation is to kill mobs before they can kill you but it'd be nice if I died less :'3
HS are not mandatory at all. Players dying in the mob rooms before you can heal them is not your fault at all, it’s on them to learn how to avoid getting hit. Without an endgame bow set, HS can’t do much besides hope their party clears the mob rooms. A50 2h erg or above will give a lot of protection, as well as heavy armor (saint guardian/refined royal knight armor set are affordable and great defensive options). Hotkeying windmill, blow, and the new vip ice bombs will help a lot to get mobs off of you. Stunning mobs in any form helps a lot, for example instead of anchor rushing away from a wolf running at you, you can simply magnum or chain blade auto attack to prevent it from attacking you.
@@roalenag oooo okay, thank you for the tips. Would you recommend Special Imperial Knight Armor over Saint Guardians? Or is Heavy Armor that much better defensively?
@@MiiMieu You'll need the absorption shoes but for EKs heavy armors are better because they also give more prot, and have chances to ping. Imp Knight / Seraphic are probably better choices for mana shield users (everyone else).
