Clearing groups was basically the same as when I used to clear on my 7p human, plenty of damage with 4p berserker.
1v1s were much trickier...
Didn’t bother hotkeying support shot because elves have a long cooldown, but I'll set that up..
No final hit + zombie HP update made hallway far more difficult to clear :(
No knuckle setup feels clunky, but the renovation should fix these problems. 🙏

I honestly love your videos; you make the game seem so much more skill-based and fun. Even though, I've been making huge strides in my gear progression in the past few months. I can't quite do this yet, but thanks for making EK look at least a little viable, I know it's much more heavily gear dependent than DD, but I love the faster paced style of Melee... I use ExitLag and my game still isn't quite as responsive, much less as smooth as yours. It'd be cool if you could look at my gear sometime and give me tips on what I should work on, like priority-wise.
Also, theory-craft question. I started grinding for NB recently... Is the berserker strictly because elves can use it? Like if you were a human, would you want to Prio the max dmg of Berserker, over the Final Hit & Windmill buffs, since Dynavolt is main dmg?

The Berserker's higher max is like 1 pierce worth of damage, so the Warlord's 3 additional pierce makes it the superior weapon. After the recent EK and rage impact changes, EK has less reliance on dynavolt smash than before (damage made more consistent across its entire skillset), so the Warlord's Windmill set effect is a considerable advantage as well.
Would you be able to show your hotkeys in a video sometime? Always curious on what setups people use since there's so many hotkeys in mabi.

I genuinely admire your ability to use so many hotkeys. My brain feels like mush just thinking about it. Do you have any tips for hotkeys for all the different abilities?
Thanks, I've probably put in more time planning out my hotkeys than most other players (for better and for worse).
What works best for me is assigning universal skills (ones you want to use all the time, regardless of gear set) to the skill window slots in your hotkey settings , so you can put them on keys like Q, E, R, Z, X, C, etc. Things like anchor rush, deathmark, windmill, wind blast, so that you don't need to switch to another skill tab, which is another hotkey. The F1~F5 keys are also good place to put these kind of skills.
If you want to use additional skill tabs, like I did with puppets, you can place the skill you'd likely use the first/most on the number you swap to the skill bar with. Like in this video, Alt+2 to switch to puppet bar, then 2 to summon the puppet.
Summon pets, friend summons, desummon on Ctrl+any left sided key. It's easier if these are all on the same modifier, that way you can just hold down the modifier to summon, friend summon, and desummon.
..Yeah there's probably more to it but that should be a good start. Spending time laying out hotkeys like this definitely makes it easier to press them. Also a mouse with many side buttons also helps a lot, because it opens up the F8~F12 or 8~= keys as options.
@@roalenag I see. One of the problems I have with using hotkeys from skill menu is that my menu never wants to save the order I place the skills in, even when I try to force it to save through logging out, but the pet hotkeys and swapping skill bars with alt is something I should be able to implement with practice. Thank you!
Only the first 9 skills in the skill window can be saved, otherwise it looks like you'd need to submit a ticket.
