    Thank you for this video! My daughter's art teacher sent very confusing instructions home but you saved our night. She was able to make a successful whistle first try after more than a week of frustration at school. ❤️

    When I was a senior in high school. My teacher had a race for getting an A in making a whistle from clay. It took me a few seconds to be the 1st one. I got it on the first try. It looked liked an upside down igloo for me as I remembered. I even had fun in making it. That was back in the fall of 1987. I have taken different art classes in high school. I liked Fall and Spring Crafts in school that I did during my sophomore year. When I was in school there was only 2 art teachers at that time. Only one year had 3. At least that I had 2 teachers in different classes. One that I had for 3 years in art and the other a year in art but, a half of a year that wasn’t an art class. It was called C.A.P. for incoming freshman for the first year. My class was the only class that had it in 1984-85. My sister’s class was going to have it for a half a year but, it was dropped.

    Very nice .Do you have a video fr what you do after the clay whistle is made ? What if you don't have a kiln ?

      @frankeager  9 років тому

      4evercrispin Whistles still work. Just have to handle with care.. You can buy a earthenware clay and do a pit fire.
