For Temple Grandin's particular nervous system, which is affected by Autism, she gravitated intuitively to what her system needed - more proprioceptive input. Often our system can give us clues as to what it needs.

i feel calmer after hugging myself as i watched this. when my arms got tired i focused on feeling the warmth and pressure of my palms on my side and arm. thank you for the explanation of the se modality - releasing trauma without reliving it would help so many.
