Elijah has died a total of 19 times in total. He has died 4 times in TVD, and 15 times in the TO. PS He only died 17 times in this video, but he died as a human before he became a vampire. He also died in the season finale along with Klaus.
Lol Daniel Gillies was not happy that Julie killed him off at the end of the series. Edit ua-cam.com/video/glAjOXc6jSg/v-deo.html watch that and after 20 minutes u will find out what I mean
Elijah isn't weak. He's the best fighter among the originals. Hybrid Klaus and marcel use brute strength, no technique whatsoever unlike elijah. The reason why he dies so much is because he lets his guard down around family and people he trusts. Plus he could have killed damon, stefan, klaus and marcel many times. And most of his deaths are when he is backstabbed.😆
I think that Elijah almost defeated marcel and the other guy before marcel kills Elijah. Whenever I watched fight between Elijah and marcel, marcel defeats Elijah. But in this video, Elijah alone defeated marcel but unfortunately marcel stabbed Elijah from behind.
I'm really thankful the TVD writers decided to keep klaus alive instead of having elijah killing him.. cause we now know if he dies so does his whole sire line but they didn't confirm that at the time elijah could of killed klaus and the writers could of just made it where the big bad villian klaus finally dies and never used the sire line story line.. and if they would of did that there would of not been a spin off for the originals to have there own show! and they would of just kept on with the vampire diaries so I'm really glad they went the route they did and treated klaus better than just being the villian who dies in the end
I wanted Klaus to die in that ritual after he killed Jenna. But look how far we've come because he survived. Now I'm glad he didn't die (but I still hate that he killed Jenna)
Elijah could’ve easily killed Stefan and Damon I mean he took care of a whole vampire army at the end of season 1 of the originals 2 would be nothing to him but they had plot armor
Also, the Vampire in New Orleans are considerably younger than Damon and Stephen. Plus, living in a party environment vs a civil war/on the run gives Damon and Stephen a huge advantage. They are much more experienced in combat.
Elijah is noble. Unlike Klaus, he knows that even them needs to have limits and keeps reminding Klaus of his humanity. If Elijah kills all those threats to him, he might end up killing half of humanity so there is no need to be upset about people staking him. After all, they can heal and can only be killed by one weapon.
Are you referring to his initial appearance when Damon takes him out? I've read that they weren't originally going to keep Elijah as a recurring character or even make him an Original. But he (the actor) was just so good that they found that way to keep him. Maybe they already had that scene written and didn't want to change it and just added him coming back afterwards.
