Mike! Keep on sharing "blasts from the past!" I was born in '55. I remember these standby generators that ALWAYS kept the lights on in our local community hospitals for our residents well being and even our local radio station so we always knew what was going on! Much love to you and family for what you do!
That old D337 Kitty Cat sounds pretty healthy! I sure wish ol' Mike would get back to doing videos again! I checked his channel the other day because I hadn't seen any notifications in quite a while. Good to see he's still kicking! I sent him a potential customer from a guy that's restoring an old Cleveland diesel genset, so hopefully they can get their heads together on a solution for some sort of voltage regulator for it.😉👍👍👍
I was just watching an @scrappyindustries video earlier. He has an old 2 stroke Cleveland gen set out of a Navy ship he just got running. Made me think of Mike and his gen set projects.
Likewise!! I sent him a link to Mike's channel in hopes that they can get together on a solution for a regulator of sorts for that Cleveland genset!! How crazy is that?!😄👍👍
Tell Mike I really like the steamboat exhaust stack on a big caterpillar generator. I do miss his videos, let him know that the light bulbs he bought a number of years ago at a show some of the smaller ones are used in smaller Lighthouse beacons.
Hey Mike! if that generator was installed at a hospital or something, would they have warm water pumping in it 24/7 or would they have to heat it up before? I couldn't imagine it firing up and going full service right away.? Good to see ya buddy
I don't think he has worked on it in a while!! He's busy earning a living and don't have the time to dedicate to the Big Cat!! What little time he does have he spends on the smaller, easier stuff!!☻
I miss Mike's videos. Thanks!
I always enjoy it when "small engine" Mike fires one of his toys up!
thats what she said...🤣
Been missing seeing Mike and his videos! Hi and best wishes to you both from Nova Scotia!
Mike sure enjoys his toys. He's a smart guy and I enjoy seeing these old engines run.
Did Mike ever get that 1930s big Cat gen set running?
I love the pedal wheeler exhaust on his big generator! I do miss his videos.

Nice genset!
Been a while since I have seen a video with Mike in it. Glad to see he’s doing well. Miss his videos. Thanks for the videos.
Excellent! Runs like a top! A very big top! 😃👍
Thanks Road King and Mike. I Love those old Caterpillars. Smoke rings are so cool!
If the grid goes down, Mike can power the eastern half of the US!

Thank you for the video
Big and Powerful Generator 👍🏻
Yea i miss his clips .
Mike, is there a block heater or glow plugs on that engine?
Need that for my backup generator! Wonder what the neighbors would think? They'd probably run a cord over 😆

I'd love to ask Mike how his restro on the "mega-Cat" is coming along - it has been awhile since the last update.

Could power many an electric heater with that thing on a cold day... :P
Wonderful!!
