  • The best disguise is the one you look at every day just like hiding in plain site is usually the most effective. So is this truism when it comes to concealing audio-visual, computer network, telecommunication lines and power cords...sometimes the best disguise is the obvious one in plain site. Using ‪@LegrandNA‬ ‪@legrand‬ WireMold system CordMate product, I conceal the ethernet cable running to my home internet modem-router-gateway on my second floor to increase it's wi-fi signal coverage. This wire concealment system provides a pleasant-looking plastic channel through which a cable may be routed rather than just laying haphazardly upon the floor or carpet in my folks house.

It really is a simple, nice way to conceal what would otherwise be unsightly cables that might also get tangled up or caught under feet, etc. Thanks for watching and leaving your positive comment! 👍

I saw a video about a way to put the cables inside the wall, but this is so much simpler than that method.

I’ve done the “fishing wires” through the wall before and it is more “hidden” but man, it can be a whole lot of work depending on what you run into. Simple if known cavity between studs but I’ve hit insulation, pipes, electrical cables and even mid-stud supports that can make things so much harder especially working “blind” and after chopping access hole it’s basically point of no return and commits you to seeing it through. As you noted, this way is such much easier and frankly it blends in I don’t even see it. 👍

@@WorksIRL I have seen a video, on UA-cam, about a product that supposed to really help. If I remember correctly, it actually sees inside the wall. However, you still have to cut the holes and run the wire through the wall.

@@WorksIRL Apparently, VCG posted the video I requested. I will have to check it out later, but you might want to check it out for yourself when you have time.
I finally convinced him to try the 8.0 battery on the Ridgid impact driver. It’s the battery that I used when I said the Ridgid was on steroids.
I’m pretty much a nobody on UA-cam, but VCG and TRZ acknowledged me the other day. I couldn’t believe it, and I forgot to tell you.

@@DiligentDave1966 That's so cool! Can you try to link to the VCG video(s) on your Community tab? I just tried VCG channel (that's VCG construction, right?) and started the 2nd to last video they posted thinking that was it with "Final Four Tool Deals Battle"...it's 2 and half hours long...I'll have to try watching later. To call out from such a big channel has to benefit your channel for sure...that's huge! 💪

@@WorksIRL The video I’m referring to is a short. I haven’t watched it yet. Apparently, he didn’t mention me. I was just told, by a couple of people, about the video.
However, I do plan on posting a comment on the video. I’m going to see I hate to be the one told you so, but I kind of have to.
He issued a challenged, a while back, and I’m going to remind him of that.
He said “by the tools, by the wood, and do the tests.” I took that challenge, and did the test. I showed what the 8.0 EXP battery can do to the performance of the Ridgid impact driver. You saw that video of Ridgid on the juice. I might not have his big budget, but I can find imperfect lumber at 70% off at Home Depot.
I was pretty much hounding him, in the comments, to try that battery for himself.
He had a video of the Flex, barely beating the Ridgid.
This was despite having a 6.0 max output battery on the Ridgid, and the 6.0 stacked lithium battery on the Flex.
Some people tried to tell me, in the comments, that the 6.0 max output was the best battery that Ridgid offered.
Even though they probably didn’t read my replies, I had to school them on the difference between 18650 cells and 21700 cells.
The max output has 18650cells, and the EXP has 21700 cells. Therefore, the EXP is a superior battery. The stacked lithium is equivalent to a 21700 cell battery, which makes the EXP a more fair comparison.
