@@gingernutpreacher yeah thats whats wrong and unnecessary, this is why the newer even original nivas are not as good, cause they aren't completely simple and who buys a niva for comfort...just get no electric windows
Pity it doesn't come with side airbags, anything that gives you safety should not be considered as (unnecessary) extras
I have the feeling these Nivas will be on the roads in 2060 and beyond.

In Belgium and most of Europe the greens are going to make it illegal to sell petrol cars after 2035. So it’s a dying breed….until they realise batteries are a bigger danger for the environment when mass produced 😂🙈

The floor plan/suspension looks the same as the old model also- which is a good thing !

My actual car is Toyota LandCruiser 90 series. But if someday i become to change it, surelly will be a LadaNiva TravelBack. It's sure, resistant, pure offroad, simple, basic, practical.

From the looks of it I think these cars is designed by people that knows how cars should be made! Looks like it has really good space for maintaining it and isn't too unnecessarily complicated than most modern cars today, this car is the only modern car that i have seen right now that looks really good right now. In terms of reliability of this one i have no idea. I hope the Lada factory is doing well. Cars today, its engine is too complex and I can't even put my credit card between the components its too little working space lol.
For me i like the old cars than the new one. Old car is easy to maintain.
But i think this car is semple and reliable

Look at all those open spaces in the hood. You can easily change a belt or a leaking rubber pipe on the go without any hassle. New cars are impossible to fix quickly in case of emergency.

Nova rhd would be great. What a tough looking basic car. Nova meets duster / jimmney. I like it. So much space around the plugs, air filter and oil filter very easy to work on

yes it has. I own one like this. Super satisfied. For less money than some ''top brands'' in Lada I have reasonable comfort (ergo seats with heating, climate, 4x4, manual gearbox is not for sports shifting btw as you tried in that video lol), smart gadgets connection (SD card reader, usb port, 12V plugin, infotainment system, BT...) and good old soviet era robustness and high quality value in all kind of weather conditions. Consumption is still an issue. It drinks a lot. But it works a lot so... All in all great terrain companion for reasonable price.
The original boxy Niva is still being produced, but it's under a different name called Niva Legend.
This Niva is based on the old Chevrolet Niva.

@@michaelwhittman2788 I do not need more power I am using it for fun outdoor driving, recreational... I paid mine 20 something thousand because I ordered it from Russia there is no lada dealership in my country so I paid 1500 eur shipment and customs.

? You mjean thin axle from the front to the rear is good? Thius looks goood from the front but look at the suspension lower axle parts on the front, thin formed sheet metal like on a tiny car.. Aye no true 4x4

It would be maximum i think 15000 euros.
U refered to simple suv's with no low gearing....Dacia duster excellent choice but still suv for mild offroading.
Jimny was the best choice for eu but they stopped eu supply due to stupid emission laws. I hope it comes back as hybrid.

Not sure if it ever be sold in Italy, but in Germany it costs €19,900 and it's with the Luxe Offroad trim (sold by MADE IN RUSSIA). In Russia currently with that same trim it costs 941,900 rubles (€10 485,36).

they should sell this thing in europe for 10m-12k euros. that would sell like hot pan. we have no real 4x4 here for a decent price except the dacia duster which also costs almost 20k.

Exterior is nice, but the interior design is like Hyundai from 15 years ago.
This is it. A 4x4 family-car. A No bullshit car. And If you want with more electric features than I need/want. Will Lada sell it in Serbia? Entrylevel with airco will be my choice.
Ever since Lada left Europe in 2019, the Nivas were only sold by third-party distributors.
In Germany (Niva Travel) are sold for €18,490. Only two remain and they were imported before the sanctions.
I doubt those will be for sale anytime soon in Serbia (or in Europe in general).
