Get diablo blades on a circular saw, mine cuts through metal like butter. I can cut 1/2" in seconds. They really surprised me and the cut is PERFECT. Also love the new channel name!
Agree! A couple of things I do when using the diablo blades is I do a quick "start notch" with a 4 1/2" grinder cutting wheel and set the depth of the circular saw to a depth which takes best advantage angle of attack on the circular saw blade for thickness of the piece being cut. cuts a 1/4" plate like its a 1/2" piece of plywood, 1/2" plate a little slower but still just as smooth.
Nice work building your own stump bucket. I can guarantee you that adding the teeth will make a big difference in the performance of this bucket. Especially if you are stumping in hard or rocky soil.
Hi funny 13 hours after you aired this I get notified. I dont know what I can do about it guess that's the way it is. Looks great what you built, I'm not sure if the steel is thick enough. Will find out. You may also sharpen the edge may cut into the ground and roots better just a suggestion. I think I would also set your plasma cutter to use 220 would cut better and use less electricity. I think its great that your not afraid to do something well done well done did I say well done you have a great day sir.
@@HumbleAcres I’m still getting used to plasma cutting, and have a very similar one to yours (mine has the pilot arc), but I am really impressed with the performance of such a cheap machine.
Get a Diamond coated Steel blade for angle grinder. I use that works best but are kind of dangerous being the like to jump but work great. For plasma you need to get a Drag tip it helps make smoother cuts. I went to school for welding all 3 processes and used plasma and air arc cutter which is insane to use in school.
I know the price has gone up since I bought mine about three years ago, but that’s pretty close to what I paid. I also got the cart, a new helmet, the cover and some other stuff with it.
It looks to me like you are going too slow with your Plasma cutting. You get extra slag if you go too slow. I'm not an expert with Plasma cutters but I used the one we had at Ocean Spray for years off and on, and I got much better results at what would have been way too fast for Oxy-Acetylene.
The burn out at the end of the video is classic. Well done!
so easy to watch and understand. truly a mellow guy

Good job, I enjoyed the honesty! I was surprised with your free hand ability with a plasma, that’s not an easy task.
Looking forward to seeing tractor and stump bucket put to use.
Ya me too!
Great home made job. can't wait to see it work .
You're a real crafty guy. The video and editing quality is excellent. I dont know how you dont have more subscribers!
Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Get you a straight edge and drag your torch

I'm not sure about the metal thickness ether but I figured I can always modify it. After the breaker tripped I was using 220. Thanks for your support!
So far I can’t find stump buckets for sale in Australia that are not large and made for skid steers. So building your own is probably the go.
Awesome job
Thanks!
Buy Bosch cutting blades they last a long time. Keep your steel cut offs they can be used for small projects.
Not a good idea to have sparks around batteries. Can cause them to explode
That’s really cool your very talented
A contact tip will make a big difference on the plasma cut quality.
Good to know thanks

You needed multiple passes on the bottom and top

Awesome thanks I’ll look into it
Why can't I find any videos of you using this Stump bucket
ua-cam.com/video/cRCUbexy_PI/v-deo.html
Did I miss what this is going on ? Any reason you didn't narrow it toward the front the way a lot are ?
I've gotten cutting blades from Harbor Freight that hold up better then the brand at the hardware store!
Ya its really hit and miss on finding some good ones
That’s cool nice work
Thanks!
Like to see it in action and get the dimensions. Going to build one
Here is a video of it in action ua-cam.com/video/cRCUbexy_PI/v-deo.html
I looked up the price of a millermatic like you have as i too have issues with my 200 welder..price of millermatic was 2000..is that what you paid.

When in doubt...read the instructions. :)
Not a bad idea👍
I never weld around or near my vehicles.
Very good!!!
Do you have dimensions of the bucket?

Saw all would work better than a cutoff wheel.
So how did it work ?
There is a video of me using it.
this is why God.......made acetylene torch
