My meters aren't working properly! I submitted a ticket but have not heard back. The meter for a channel will light up but the response is not like a peak meter, it takes over 10 seconds after audio is no longer playing in a channel for the meter to respond. I would guess this is a simple setting I can adjust but I can't find an answer anywhere.
My icon system is not working, after configuring it different times as manual said, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't, it's also very very noisy when playback automations, I've opened a ticket but had no reply in months, opened another one and had no reply in months again. Firmware is up to date, everything is set but yet it just won't work. Very bad product.
Sorry you're having trouble with your iCON system. When you say the system is not working, what exactly are the symptoms? When you say it's noisy when playing back automation, have you calibrated the faders? Please advise. Sorry you're not seeing a response from our tech support team. We did a search for your name in our system and didn't see it. What name is your ticket under? We will follow up with the tech support team as well.
@@Iconproaudio so here is the thing: i update icon p1-m to mac mini M1! Upadate done! All good! Then i plug into my macbook M3 and is working but one message came out this one: KEYBOARD SETUP ASSISTANT: Your iCON device cannot be identified and will not be usable until it is identified. If your keyboard is working properly and you have an additional USB input device connected to your computer that is not a keyboard, you may quit this application. Quit. After quitting this page is all working like a charm! So ye! It’s working no panic. Only for people they have an M3 or M2 and do not own a M1 to do the update! -Also please Icon do an update of new shortcuts for ableton 12🙏
This is 2023!! That part about "NOTE ALWAYS OPEN THE iMAP FIRST BEFORE YOU OPEN YOUR DAW TO ENSURE THE P1-M AND iMAP FUNCTION PROPERLY" is not the type of stuff folks who just want their products to work with little interaction as possible want to see. It makes one wonder about the stability of the supporting software. Icon software engineers need to consult with Avid software engineers to figure out why when using Avid Dock and S1 Control Surfaces users dont have to do this.🤨
The reason you need to open the iMAP first is for the customization processes of the iMAP. The iMAP operates on Midi port 4. If you open the DAW first, some DAWs will occupy port 4 meaning the iMAP will not work properly in that setup. Opening the iMAP first eliminates this problem. This is only the case with some DAWs (ProTools being one), but we figured it was better to instruct all users to follow this opening order procedure. You speak of Avid Dock and S1. Those devices are made by the DAW manufacturer so they can tailor make the controller to the DAW and vice versa. iCON doesn't have access to Avid's engineers and designers for competitive reasons. We are a third party manufacturer so the reality is, we cannot achieve the same level of integration with some DAWs as the company can when it creates the hardware and the software. But if you want to have the best user experience, we suggest that you turn on the controller, then open the iMAP and then open the DAW.
Looking to purchasing this controller! Can you do a video with 3rd party VST/plugins? Many people would appreciate it! 😊
So where are the Videos for setup on Windows noting that Ableton Midi settings are actually very different on Windows vs Mac
Legendary thing
Dope ❤

Why in god's name do you have to select "MackieControlXT" for the Control Surface??
Mackie Control XT is for the extender.
@@Iconproaudio is this because Ableton will not offer any Icon options in the Control Surface menu?
