- With the return of The Mandalorian season 2 on Disney+, i thought now would be the perfect time to show you all how you can make mandos helmet, for yourself, homemade, using nothing but household items, cardboard & paper mache for this diy prop!

Thank you. Finally a relatively easy way to make a star wars mandalorian helmet! Making a simplified version of this helmet now (glue is setting half done). The idea is - no joke - to wear it when I go shopping. Why not turn a chore into something that brightens someone's day and makes them laugh? (if they're a star wars fan lol). Plus if it comes out right it'll look awesome sitting on my desk next to ye olde lightsabre hilt...

Hi amazing im definitely subbing but how do you stick the strips without a glue gun
heyyy thank you so much, welcome to the channel!! Any strong glue you have, such as super glue should work & is pretty cheap. Hope this helps :)
We are going to attempt to make this for my daughter for halloween. Is there a way to water proof the helmet in case it snow/rains? Can you suggest a spray sealant that would work well?

Yes you can either use a sheet of see through black plastic, or colour in a clear sheet of plastic using a black sharpie pen & then attach in place using tape or glue :)

You keep saying “card”. Are you using construction paper?
Card i guess is a british term, but "card stock" is slightly thicker than construction paper i believe. However you could probably use either. Hope this answers your question :)
