  • The stereo camera of our autopilot kit installed on an eVito is tested for barrier detection at a speed of 20 km/h. So far, it seems robust and able to stop without emergency braking for frontal pedestrians and cyclists. The relative speed is around 35-40 km/h for the cyclist. The next test will be done with fixed objects increasing speed.
    A radar with object detection will be used for barrier and moving object detection at higher speeds and for redundancy.
