In really life, the actress was told not to sign anymore by her doctors because of pain and stuff. So they added it to the show exactly how it was happening in real life. All the movement was too much for her bones, joints, muscles and nerves.
I really think that Melody and Daphne were super selfish in this scene
That's too bad that there's no gay love storyline in this show but I love the idea of ASL being CC by ABC 😁 for some who does not understand ASL and for others who are learning
I thought there was a gay story line though.......
@@Mia-dr4yx there is.
There's several TV shows that do just like Hispanic, afroamericans (from North, Central and South America) and among others minorities. Plain and simple.
I thought it was silly. The previews made it sound like Regina had breast cancer or something equally serious.
Imagine if you couldn't communicate with your daughter on a deeper level anymore. Imagine if you had to struggle to understand your own family and express yourself. It would cause a huge rift in your relationship. It's very serious.
1:23 that face reaction Marlee Matlin did. about to go down. like she wanted to throw hands. or take every jewelry off earring rings after she took every piece of jewelry she has on take all jewelry off took that when she about to whip your ass.
I'm deaf
Hey
pobre Daphne!
If she has hearing aids why does she need sign all the time. Never understood that.
because signing feels like it's easier to communicate ... and it is I know it cuz I'm deaf I would rather sign than speak
+tina garza Also people will not be looking directly at her while speaking but be a foot away and she still can't here them. So I don't see why she uses them
+AL E I wish I could communicate by signing but my whole family is hearing and they tell me it's hard to learn American sign language

She still can't hear, they only help a little bit
Melody has a kind heart but didn’t say what she really meant. And Regina needs to calm down
Bruh 🤦🏽♀️
I think she said exactly what she meant.
I don't know, to me Melody always came across as really hostile towards hearing people. Understandable given how she was treated by some of them, but it was always guilty until proven innocent.
Definitely in Bay's case.
This is so dumb. Is she just planning on never using her hands again?
She can still use the but she can’t sign because of the damage
Daphne is the worst
