I got my type1d at age 16 ..I'm 24 now...next year I'm planning to get married...u give so much strength to move forward in life and have a kid someday ...more power to u and let god gives u so much strength for the labor and the baby too ❤
Hi Michelle. You’ve become like a ‘UA-cam Daughter’ to me these past few years. Wishing you, Raffi and Baby Girl, good health and a super easy delivery:) Sending a giant hug! 😘🙏
I gave up my Tslim pump....unfortunately I couldn't deal with all the alarms and changing every 3 days, but I kept my Dexcom g6, love the sensor, so I'm back with injections, and I telling you, I have more freedom!.. Congratulations for the new baby!❤️
Yes new sensor are extra sensitive, I've always used the outside of my arm but looking into some different area for my Dexcom. Thank you for the suggestion
I highly recommend trying the Dexcom on your side underneath where your bra band sits. It takes a little practice placing it but I get accurate readings, it’s comfortable and totally out the way. It’s by far my favourite place to put it :)
@@nonelah I don’t have a tone of fat there and it’s fine but I guess I can’t speak for others. It’s never caused me any more pain than some stinging when I first put it in (just like any other site). It was definitely scary the first couple of times tho!
Thanks for the great video! I am a Type 2, 31 weeks pregnant, using a Dexcom & insulin (no pump) and liked seeing the inner & outer arm Dexcom placement. I’m finding the belly is just not cutting it anymore…getting a lot of sensor errors lately. Wishing you a safe delivery!
First off, congratulations. Secondly my daughter and I both actually avoid the abdomen with our Dexcom and insets because for some reason we have issues with them sticking there. The outer arms are definitely favorites. Never tried the inner arm, so going to have to give that a shot. I wear an arm band I got from Amazon that my pump slides into and it covers the inset nicely. My daughter isn’t a fan of the arm band but it works for me it also keeps my pump in one place while I sleep since I tend to toss and turn a lot.
Hi Michelle, I've been following you for years! I'm so so happy for you and Raffi! You're so inspiring and also a source of hope for all of us t1d girls! Kisses darling
I’ve moved over to the t slim! Loving it so far my control had improved immensely already! ❤️👍 we both are on the same cgm and pump now so I’m looking forward to your future videos which I will be able to relate to more 😃🥰
I love the top of the thights! Not the sides though, I’m a side sleeper and I don’t trust sleeping putting pressure on the canula. I actually use one of those leg bands to avoid thigh rubbing when wearing dresses in summer, even to sleep, and then clip the tslim in my pijama shorts. If you’re a wild sleeper that will make you a lot safer. I also bought one of the pretty ones, like the one you bought for your wedding. Lovely and reeeealy useful when using dresses. Really helpful video, even for not pregnant people 🤣 Be safe in case you give birth before next video 🥰
I’m moving to the t slim pump the Friday! This video gave me so many more ideas for pump sites and Dexcom site that my doctors have never mentioned to me so thank you so much!! 🥰🥰
Best wishes from Whitstable U.K. and that you have a safe and happy birth and if we don’t see you for a while it’s for a beautiful reason... Thank you for yet another lovely and informative video x
Hi! :) I've just recently stumbled across your UA-cam channel and love since I'm a T1D. So, thanks for sharing your life with T1D so that it doesn't have to feel so isolating! I have a question about when you've tried different sites. I have always been nervous to try different places in fear that it'll hurt. When I was younger, I tried a couple different places than my abdomen, but it hurt. So I stuck with my comfort spot. But now, I want to try to be brave and use different sites. Any suggestions on how to brave the pain? Does it hurt at all to put it on your thigh or glute? Lol Also, I'm curious to hear about your experience if you exercised during pregnancy and how that impacted your T1D? My husband and I are planning pregnancy soon, and I love to exercise. But I haven't met a lot of T1D who juggled T1D, exercising, and pregnancy.
I have had lows I use my stomach but I had to find my fav, for about a day I see more lows, I love your hair Congrats in case you have your little girl 💕

I think the colour determines the lenght of the inner cannula, so if I’m not wrong the clear one is 6mm or 5, and the pink one is smaller. But in Spain you get to choose just by phoning into the company that distributes it to the patients.
I love you so much my mom is 31 too and I am diabetic 2 and I have a Dexcom sex and the T slim X2 pump and you look like me and I'm so glad about your baby
I use Libre 2 and everytime i start a new sensor, the reading is usually off by at least 2 mmol/mol for the first couple days. Don´t know how this issue translates to dexcom or other cgms tho.
I find that the first 24 hours with a Dexcom six it is very inaccurate highs and lows and then it kicks in and becomes very accurate after about 18 to 24 hours. Anybody else experiencing this?
Have you had any signal issues with having the G6 on the arm there? As for the infusion site on the arm I rotate the connection so it points up towards my head as that lets me route the tubing up and over the shoulder and down my chest which I found less annoying.
If I have my G6 on my arm, I make sure the pump is on the same side of my body to avoid signal issues. If it's on the opposite side, I will sometimes lose connection. Thanks for the tip about the tubing 😊
I love your videos Michelle always wonderful. I see your basinet; it's so cute where did you get it. My son and daughter-in-law are expecting twins. it would be a nice gift. I wear my Dexcom on my arms I love it. My Dexcom also works well on my upper buttocks. My favorite place is my back just below kidney area, very comfortable. No problem pulling up pants. Good luck on your delivery I know all will go well.❤
Thank you so much Joanne❤️! My bassinet is a hand-me-down from my sister, so I'm not sure where she purchased it, but the brand is Fisher Price :). That is so exciting that you will be welcoming twins into your family soon 😀
Hi I married before 4 years ago & am living with diabetes but still can't get pregnant & my doctor warned me to hold because my diabetes is not stable. What u suggest me sis?
I'm so sorry to hear you are going through this :(. I'm not a medical doctor, so I can't give you any advice on this, but maybe you could get a second opinion from another doctor? I wish you all the best ❤️
That was another great video! You are so cute and carry that belly well. I would send you a handmade baby hat if I knew your address. I always take away some good info from your videos. Take are and hope to see a pic of that sweet baby soon.

Does it hurt? It’s scary as there is not much tissue besides skin there on the ribs

How did you get the pink pump sets? Do you just ask your doctor or does it come randomly?
When I order my pump sets I can choose the colour! I use the "Autosoft 90" for the t:slim, and they come in either blue, grey, or pink.
Aaaaaa yes thanks so much x I live in the uk so I get them for free on prescription so that’s why I maybe don’t get a choice of colour 🥰😂

How did you maintain your blood sugar level’s during your pregnancy? Was it hard?
Hi Michelle, Do you attach the hip clip directly to the tslim or to the case? Thanks
Lower outer arm has been my goto for my sensors,

I am confused how to deal with the tubing and pump if it’s attached to my upper arm ?
How much does the clip cost
Wish you all the best ( especially your girl 😍)🍭⚘
