Are you ever daunted or scared to solo travel? I think its really empowering. I know life can pass you by if you're forever waiting for someone to do city breaks etc with. I just have a real fear at the thought I guess, but I love this content! ❤ you seemed to feel perfectly safe in Paris too!! Xx
i love solo travel! but i def get a bit intimidated at the thought of going far afield. i mostly stick to places i'm already comfortable or familiar with like paris (not far, i speak a bit of french, they speak a lot of english), or touristy areas in spain. i feel like work gives me an extra push to go solo (i wouldn't vlog this much if i were away with a friend!) so often i do wanna go away just me and my camera.

I’d love to use the Eurostar more and would if the rail prices down from Leeds were more affordable- definitely agree with your point about rail travel and the government investing more into it etc. i really like how my local rail company now tells you have much C02 you’ve prevented from being used by taking the train such a lovely added bonus to make you feel you’ve made a sustainable choice. I totally agree about getting the train... I've always been against domestic flights but now i consider it when going places as trains are so expensive and constantly get cancelled. I absolutely love getting the train though.. id choose it over driving any day xx
THIS! both my trains were delayed too! thankfully my journey back was pretty cosy (had an empty seat beside me - lush!) but honestly, we NEED to be investing in making trains better, affordable and just more appealing!

didnt know they had vegan meals now! maybe of the update from premier to plus? i used eurostar premier twice last year and they only had vegetarian meals so i had to give away half of what i was given. but at least there was wine lol

i think i'm gonna have to tour the UK this year bc it's my last year with a 26-30 rail card. prices are unbearable without!

lol I have a pair of translater EarPods for any language! So far polish and Japanese have both worked!
