All Daleks do have a repair ability, it is shown when the metaltron repairs itself when it escapes the cage, and in prisoner of the daleks the doctor mentions that bonded polycarbide is made of automatic self repair molecules.
In the Novel Prisoner of The Daleks, it’s established that the standard Daleks casings are still very powerful. If you use a bio weapon on its casing it will destroy that one Dalek, but if you try it again it it won’t work because the casing adapts (similar to the borg in Star Trek). This gives them a huge advantage in the battlefield. Xx
It’s noted in one audio that they can take on organic material since berserkers don’t care much in purity. So that’s why other Daleks don’t have it. They don’t want to sully themselves by taking on nearby organic material
I would love to see a Dalek like that brought into Doctor who or in a Dalek spin off. Like the Daleks are struggling to take down a defensive position so they deploy the Berserker Dalek to just brute force it's way through.
I have an idea of a Dalek spin off series which I might try and create after University. I might try and add this one to the roster of Daleks that appear. Though I might not because the Special Weapons Dalek appears which might perform the same purpose.
i would love to see them do a new special weapons Dalek that's at least half as large again with oversize weapons like a cross between a special weapons Dalek and a Berserker.
As undeniably awesome as this design is, I feel like it kind of takes away from the Daleks as a whole. The Ninth Doctor's horror, stating that lone basic bronze Dalek posed a threat to millions. Dalek Sec saying just one Dalek would destroy 5 million Cybermen. The idea of bigger, scarier, apparently deadlier Daleks kind of implies the standard Daleks aren't threatening enough imo.
"A pistol can kill a crowd, why then do we need fully automatic rifles? The idea of a bigger, scarier, apparently deadlier rifle kind of implies that pistols aren't deadly enough imo." Imagine if you would, a main-line battle tank, pretty deadly, decent in a fight, but not designed for anything that can put up a fight or a heavily fortified position, then imagine a larger, more armoured main-line battle tank with multiple barrels capable of auto firing rounds by the hundreds and a massive buzzsaw attached to the front rolling it's way right at you at full speed while the entire crew are screaming from inside. It's not just about how deadly it is, it's about the fear factor of having to fight one or more of these at a time while it's smashing down your fortifications like they were made of play-doh without a care for it's own safety.
I absolutely love the Prydonians work he’s so talented and he’s inspired many of my own customs that I have made as well. My favourite that he had made is probably the purified Dalek design. It looks fantastic. I also love his Modern redesign. The idea of the berserker Dalek is fascinating, yet terrifying all at once. An awesome concept, brilliant design but I imagine a nightmare to defeat lol 😂. I’d have loved to have seen this in the show. xx
The Prydonian render of the 60s movie Daleks is great, the Daleks from Dr. Who and the Daleks are my personal favourite standard Dalek designs and part of me wants to see them become the new standard Dalek design
Prydonians work certsinly is impressive! And I'm also partial to the particularly feral Daleks as well! I think the idea of a berserker Dalek really falls in line with the desperate and insane ideas being thrown into the time war for any sort of advantage, i think the design would over all look a bit better if the Casing metal matched the treads in color and texure rather than mostly be Bronze, or perhaps if the bronze sheen wasmore discolored from past battles like in this image 1:32
I love Prydonian's work on Daleks, and I think I've seen a few of his renders in the Mark III Travel Machine Combat Training Manual. As for the Berserker Daleks, you think the Dalek Empire took inspiration from Abslom Daak? After all, imitation is the greatest form of flattery.
Very cool and bizarre Dalek variant. May I ask, could you make a playlist of the more strange and out there Dalek variants? I'm not talking about independent Dalek characters, but common soldiers like the Special Weapons, Spider, and Berserker Dalek. I think it would serve as an easy way to learn more about the Dalek military.
Daleks with a berserker name, healing and Repairing factors, and behaviour like vicious animals… why does this all remind me of a certain mutant… (Wolverine)
It would be good to see these different Daleks in a TV episode. Give a fresh take and difference then the usual typical Dalek story. Even bring back the SWD too! That bad boy deserves and return. We need the Dalek Time Controller/Stratagist in TV forum and other types of ranks. DalekBumps, if you was to design a new type of Dalek for an episode, what would your idea of one be?
The design with the tank treads I would actually question... A standard travel machine can hover or even fly. Why restrict yourself to ground propulsion?
The berserker Dalek is very cool. My favourite render he has done is the WW2 German Dalek which reminds me of the WW1 British & German styled Daleks from a 11th Doctor comic I really like. Also found out that James has a YT channel youtube.com/@JamesJohnson-cf7lv?si=rzz-mlkyRf474eRl
Everybody calls the Daleks "Tank like creatures". This time it actually looks like a tank.

Oh cool! @@turnipstudios123
That repair ability feels like something that should be standard issue for all Daleks.
There are a lot of things that non standard daleks can do that should be standard like the recon scout dalek being able to use humans as puppets

Sounds expensive

Nice use of the artwork of the incredibly talented James Johnson (aka @ThePrydonian). It’s great that you gave him the credit he deserves 😊
Love the use of Sonic Heroes Eggman Boss Battle music

I love the spider Dalek at 2:15. I can just imagine the sound it'd make, and the heft of it's claws landing.
Thank you for mentioning me, Mr. Bumps
A Dalek that is a full-on tank? Now things have gone nuts!
The Prydonian's work is _superior_
Loving the choice in soundtrack. Sonic heroes was one of my favourites as a kid 👌🏻👌🏻

l love seeing different types of Daleks
These things are nuts and I love them I do wish the prydonian did one that had a rebuilt casing out of scrape
Honestly, I didn’t imagine that’s how berserk Daleks looked
I didn't either but it does explain their first described deployment as being cloaked in a cloud of black petrol fumes

I see only one weakness to the Berserker Daleks, STAIRS! HOW CAN THEY FLY UP THOSE HUH? It’s not like they can just easily destroy them or anything
I reckon they could use the treads to climb up them if they were wide enough
@@mandyward5372They will literally knock the entire building over through steer tractive effect.
I love that you use command and conquer music for these videos sometimes they suit the Daleks so well
if the berserker daleks were ever sent on a diferent planet

say hello to your afterlife 🙂
Your videos just keep getting better and better!
I learned a Bit of them, I love their inteligence, I wish and Hope BBC could bring them tô next doctor who series❤
reminds me of Scout Seven Dalek from The Genocide Machine but with treads.
They remind me of the Super Guardian Dalek from the London mission in the old Dalek Attack platform game…
I want these in series 14 or 15 or 16 or tho I wish it was in eve of the daleks now ngl 😅
Good Lord! And here I thought the Hunter Killers from The Terminator Franchise were nasty.
Funny story: the daleks also have a hunter killer
During the spring and summer I'm gonna be building the imperial Supreme dalek
Daleks with a berserker name, healing and Repairing factors, and behaviour like vicious animals… why does this all remind me of a certain mutant…
(Wolverine)
Brilliant insight.
Why would caterpillar tracks be advantageous when the standard dalek can actually fly? That would seem to be lower tech.
I'm a big fan of Prydonian's 'purified' Dalek designs, would love it if something like that became the base for the next Dalek redesign for TV
I didn’t actually know a tank dalek
I didn’t think Daleks could get anymore tankier than the Special Weapons Daleks
These are like tank dalek, but daleks are already tank, so dose that make these tank tanks
Oh I love this guy!
the berserker Dalek looks epic but it should be like a normal Dalek
Who is the Dalek Hunter Killer?
Who is Case, the War Doctor's part-Dalek companion?

The design with the tank treads I would actually question... A standard travel machine can hover or even fly. Why restrict yourself to ground propulsion?
Since they’re cheap shock troops, presumably the treads are easier to construct than standard Dalek casings
Tank treads though? It loses all maneuverability and cant be deployed from the air.
The daleks are prone to ilogic like all genocidal nuts
It will literally just plow over buildings.
The berserker Dalek is very cool.

I call that daleks executioner on steroids
Say are there dalek commandos?
The standard daleks are stronger just there weakness is high energy weapons
Is that sonic heroes boss music in thd background?
Yep! Its 'Egg Hawk'
Can you please explain Zone X Daleks?
Doesn't feel right for a Dalek to look different to a basic Dalek design such as this 😅
I think it looks pretty goofy
The War Doctor? Shouldn't he be called a Medic?😆😆
He isn't a medical Doctor, he's a Doctor of War
