@@sharemyjoys I use regular phones earphones with some foam around the mic, for wind nose and keep it near my neck (a plaster would do just fine to keep it there) the sounds tends to be good this way. And I record the audio separately on my phone, while editing I add it to the video. Maybe something you can try. Also could be that you need to think of better location for your current set up, it's really hard to understand what you are saying.
@@FlyingKarlis do you just record one long audio file? Maybe an app that is voice activated would be useful so that commentary is easier to find? Sometimes the quality is a bit better depends where the mic ends up I guess
@@sharemyjoys I usually start the audio recoding at the same time I start the video, my phone is also my flight computer, always on the cock pit, quite easy to start an app. Voice activated would not be a bad idea. I'll have to look into that. For voice activated I've used motorcycle Bluetooth set up connected to the phone works great sound wise, but the audio file was all flight long. I did it for paramotor as the motorcycle Bluetooth has good noise cancelling. But that is one more thing I need to remember evry time I go to fly. This is why I use my phone wirh external mic, simplifies for me.
