- The fourth officially released trailer of Luigi's Mansion 2 HD, uploaded via email on May 31st, 2024, unlisted on Nintendo UK's channel titled "This adventure will give you goosebumps!".

I love how the boos have an aura around them. Its a nice little detail that makes them look more like a ghost and less like a bouncy ball

This was my Favorite game on the 3Ds, and I look forward to playing it again on Switch.

I doubt Nintendo would do that, as maybe they would want to keep the challenge for returning players. Who knows, there may even be an easy mode for new, in-experienced, players. 😄

Yeah, me too! I think ScareScraper would be the longest task to do, though, because you’d have to collect all the special ghosts. I managed to get my last special ghost on the 3DS version of LM2 1 hour before the Nintendo Network got shutdown forever. 1 hour! 😃

@@JackSnacksOnBigMacs for what the remaster is trying to do it's doing a good job! (Although they could have done better with it) And critics over here saying that it looks bad and the game is a lazy port💀
@@RGXthe2nd Indeed. I believe Nintendo have made the game even better than it used to be, with re-done animations and a plethora of new textures and icons. This is one of the best ports from Nintendo, and its development stages are discernible through the many versions of cutscenes from its reveal to its most recent trailer. An example would be the greenie in sunglasses jump scaring Luigi in Mission A-4: Visual Tricks. 🙂
@@JackSnacksOnBigMacs actually the animations weren't remade from scratch. They were just upgraded a bit like with some animations luigi now opens his mouth when talking in stuff like mission 2-A and the 1st cutscene in the game

Me too! A few nice additions would be great! I did see on the eShop one time that said this game has in-app purchases. Maybe that could be related, but my best guess would be some sort of multiplayer pack for ScareScraper, just like they did with Luigi's Mansion 3.
I will say it: This looks REALLY good, not as good as Luigi's Mansion 3, but still very great in it's own ways

I know, the graphics look pretty good! But I guarantee it’ll look so much better on the Switch successor, if updating graphics of old games through the new processors are possible.

I understand the hard work behind this, but cmom, they could have made it more detailed like luigis mansion 3
I understand what you mean, but I think Nintendo just want to keep that specific art style. Luigi’s Mansion 2 looks more sharp with its art, however Luigi’s Mansion 3 looks rather soft, especially with some of those wallpaper designs. Also, Luigi looks really squishy in that game! 😆
How you get this
I used a video downloader website. I’m not going to say which one I used, but there are plenty of them on the internet that you can find and use quite easily, surprisingly, as long as you’ve found the right one for you.
And, for any person working at UA-cam reading this, just know that I’m doing this only for preservation. Views are nice, but it’s not a priority, so please don’t punish me. Hopefully, though, it at least builds a community possibly ready to watch my LM2 documentary series, “LM2 Research - Behind the Game”. Thank you for reading!

I sincerely hope they somewhat restructured it and ditched the mission format.
I doubt they’d do that. Honestly, I think the mission structure was an incredible idea for Luigi’s Mansion 2. There’s something about the game that makes the mission structure link so perfectly, and I think the game wouldn’t feel right at all without it.
It also helps with how there’s so many things going on in the game. It just wouldn’t be practical if players could freely roam. That could cause some sequence breaks.
And, hey, they might even go back to the mission structure for Luigi’s Mansion 4, and return to free roaming for Luigi’s Mansion 5, and repeat the pattern.
Nope, it’s still in the game
