In the Comics, Odin and Zeus did have a benevolent relationship and would sometimes call on one another for aid. They didn't hang out together like war buddies but did share common interests.

Zeus seemed to be a clown at first, but the after credits showed the effects of his decisions to what happens when he dropped his guard, doesn't take things serious.
He is serious now after getting stabbed, and doesn't seem to want to host another ....party.... due to his wrath.
Can't wait to see what Hercules does

Odin acted like an actual king. He always did what was best for his people no matter the cost. Always took his responsibilities very seriously. Zeus is a joke... nothing but a hedonistic bum. Zeus is the kind of king who sits on his throne while soldiers die in his name on the battlefield... Odin's the kind of king who stands on the front lines with his soldiers while those who perish do so in the name of their kingdom. Zeus is a ruler while Odin was a leader. I can see the animosity. Odin was loved while Zeus "was" feared.

@@TheWolfMatt i was talking strictly comic books it’s very hard to take things from the comics and put them in the MCU because it works extremely differently and while Odin was alive we didn’t see him do much and the stuff we’ve seen thor do with the odinforce while impressive in MCU standard isn’t really that impressive overall and he hasn’t really shown any of those “hax abilities” that come with the odinforce the other thing is I took it more as Zeus was surprised by how strong Thor is now and wasn’t expecting him to catch the thunderbolt and throw is back kind of like how in Star Wars Darth maul didn’t expect obi want to jump above him and was cocky and got filleted. Zeus said he hasn’t seen an asgardian since Odin died so at the very least last time he saw Thor was pre awakening in Ragnarok. Thor is clearly much stronger since then. Id say Zeus was caught off guard. But probably Hercules will be on Thor’s level because Zeus has to recover and doesn’t care to fight Thor himself who knows maybe Thor will trash both in the same film. I’m not really sure none of us are but I wouldn’t say Thor is necessarily above them because he caught Zeus off guard. The man took one of the universes most powerful weapons through the center of his chest where his heart should be and was eating grapes and walking around like he just had some bruises after falling off a bike.

Well one thing we do know is that based off the comic book The celestials told all the sky fathers not to be involved with mankind to the degree that they were before so that could be a reason why all the gods are not as engaged with the human race. The theory doesn't make sense since if you put into the account what happened in Eternals and Moon Knight, the Gods left so that humans can evolve. Zues also let the Eternals be a representative of the Pantheon of Greek Gods, on the premise that the Eternals help the Humans. In exchange the Gods will stop meddling with Humans.

The MCU is a bit of a mess in my opinion. This was always likely to happen the more they added characters and arcs to the overall narrative.
When you think back to the first Thor film for example, you'd think the Asgardians were the only 'god' like beings in the universe and such things like the Eternals, Zeus, The Celestials, Omnipotent City and Kang non-existent or just myths at best.
The more the MCU moves forward with its expansion, the more it actually undermines what's come before.
There have been so many plot holes, things left unexplained or eve explained away badly, that I've just lost complete interest in the MCU now.

No he’s not!!! There’s really no comparison with Zeus, according to myth Zeus is the father of the gods. Zeus is mischievous yes, but Odín is as well, Zeus also protects and does justice same as Odín, in terms of the best mythological god Zeus reigns as the best. Of course this is only myth, there’s only God and that’s Jehova. But in myth Zeus is the most famous one. I know, I’m a writer myself that wrote my own universe, had to stop it because of my convictions and my beliefs.

This would be a plausible theory. If Valkery weren't Loki. Loki switched with Valkery in Ragnarock because he knew ragnarock would lead to his neck being snapped. Loki exists like a schrodeingers cat on the main timeline he's simultaneously the loki from the end of the first Thor movie who falls into the devils anus to Sakaar and he is also the Loki who has met Morbius and Sykvie because of his ability to enchant in ragnarock via valkeries flashback fight scene with Hela. Loki has obtained all the information he needs to accurately portray his love Sylvies greatest desire and thereby his as well. Sylvies crime to the timeline was that she admired the valkery which would had led her on the path of the hero. Thor also admires the valkery and set out to become one leading him down the heros path. Loki stealing Valkeries identity plays to his villainous role while simultaneously getting him Thors instant respect and once again gets Thor to give him the keys to leading the people as king as a refugee on Earth without any of the drawbacks of being a Loki and staying clear of the TVA. Most of the scenes in Thor Love and Thunder corroborate my theory. including the scene in which Zeus flicks off thors clothes to reveal a memoriam tattoo on thors back of loki. And it even appears to be what gains valkery/lokis interest in the moment.
That said because Loki both dies and doesn't die on the refugee ship at Thanos hands this also means that simultaneously Valkery is really there and it was Loki who died in one iteration of the universe. Loki appears to be following a script written by kang as to avoid detection and he does so by utilizing the existing events on the sacred timeline via the recordings at the TVA. most likely a plot point in Loki season two yet to be explored.
If you lay out the rules and formula each film follows and repeats with some ad lib you begin to realize Marvel is making a commentary on the cyclical nature of these gods who are destined to be an epitome of themselves in infinite reincarnations throughout the multiverse. In fact there many ways Loki escapes Thanos clutches. in the loki series we met an iteration of the character who drifted disguised as debri through space. his crime to his "sacred" timeline being that he tried to leave after having too much loneliness after his Kang determined isolation. What's even more interesting though is the fact that loki is also the God of survival and in a way the rebirth of the universe/multiverse. It took a connected series of events from multiple universes for loki to get beyond the veil at the end of time. all so Sylvie could murder he who remains and set forth the reincarnation of other universes that ultimately lead to the rebirth of Loki variants to help Loki. This apparently is what makes a sacred timeline sacred. it must be responsible for its own reincarnation. It is this fact that makes the infinity war truly infinite. This is also the reason why Strange had to view so many timelines to find one where the avengers win. Thanos himself is playing the timeloop game and this is all centered around the events of ragnarock. Hela must die. Thanos must die twice. one old man fulfilling his destiny. A young man dying at Tonies hands knowing what it's like to lose and feeling so desperately that he should have won. This is the reason Thanos knows Tony in infinity war. He knows he loses to this Tony shortly after they kill him. It is this fact that makes Thanos work complete and that it always will be. he actually is partially responsible for the multiple iterations of the universe in part. All of these variations stem from the focal point of the attach on new York. this is where new universes apparently begin according to Dr selvig In the first Avengers. the wormhole plays with causality. we don't know to what point in spacetime a doorway was opened utilizing the tesseract. It does appear the mind stone used was from an alternate future as it came with visions of the Scarlett witch and a universe in which the avengers died. It also appears that Thanos after defeating the avengers is rebuffed from his mistress death and sets out to dominate the multiverse by setting the events in motion that would irradicate 50% of all existence not just in the universe. not just trillions. but 50 percent of infinity.
It always amazes me that all these outlets fail to use the same kind of critical thinking that the writers of these stories do. why speculate with hear say when there are plot and dialogue points leading the way like a trail of stars. I may not know how they will present these ideas on screen yet but u do know they are coming. Thanos series is coming. I'm assuming after Lokis character arc starts to wrap up. There's a lot to unpack in the MCU. It's all the deep end.

    • @Tow_Sr.
      @Tow_Sr. 2 роки тому

I kinda agree. But the worm hole had The chitari Army Waiting , there next to or ready to go do Thanos , dirty work. So the tesseract was just the space stone that opened a port or just like the Bi frost , it just sends you from 1 place in our Universe to another. I don't see it opening as a worm hole for all time and space to jump through from another universe , and go back 2000 years. To start reaking havoc, as does he who remains , or any Variant of Cang

    • @enderprodigy3167
      @enderprodigy3167 2 роки тому

@@Tow_Sr. ah but that's where your wrong lol! just kidding, I'll elaborate on my theory to see if I can sway
the stones are linked and inform eaches power set. Loki utilized the mind stone to open a wormhole with the tesseract. Which in all other forms of Sci fi like interstellar is a way to exchange information or even individuals to the past.
In Marvel if the mind stone can be utilized in tandem with the tesseract it means that Loki took professor Xavier trick to the next level. he went backwards into the recesses of his own memory to connect to a point in time in which he originated after he is thrown to an alternate universe via sylvie. which means he met an variant Thanos who gave him the mind stone from a variant future. one in which the avengers lost via tonies vision from the Scarlett witch. the Scarlett witch got her vision of a future self from the mind stone as well. but back to the main point space and time are connected and inform one another in physics. even in theory of relativity faster than light travel breaks causality. I don't agree with that theory for many logical reasons but this isn't about my issues on true objective renderring of time.
Marvel is utilizing the infinty stones to play on the blurred lines between where physics stop and conecpets like gods and consciousness begin. playing on the idea of probabilities to different causal events. Strange uses the time stone to pure into other potential outcomes. so does Xavier. So does Thanos and even shield utilizing project insight. all are methods to which those polrojecting pick the best available outcome. the tesseract is extradimensional it is the literal embodiment of this concept.
in one dimension exist singularity. in two dimensions a plane that miraculously has still nigh infinite space between. dispersal of energy solidified gives rise to injects in motion relative to one another which creates the basis for how we measure time. consciousness itself needing to exist to measure. the idea that we hallucinate and create our own realities etc. etc. it keeps going in a loop.
The soul is the basis for which choices are made, the soul informs the mind, you do something that impacts your perception of the world creating a reality, your motion in sequential order is divided and measured as the passage of time. time itself is a measure of objects defined by light.
Which is another topic no one ever covers. Heimdahl himself is capable of seeing an o jective universe. he sees in real time. If heimdahl was relaying on light for information and then opened an Einstein rosenbridge Thor would arrive billions of years too late. Heimdahl also can hear faster than light since he tells loki when he turned his gaze upon him he could neither see nor hear him. Lokis illusion casting also appears capable of spanning great distances to communicate in real time. Something he did when utilizing the destroyer in the first Thor movie. There are many mcguffins.
One Easter egg no one ever talks about is the devils anus. Sakaar is surrounded by black holes. black holes bend space time and fold it in on itself. which means sakaar is a literal hub of doorways into different points and time in space as well. At the end of the first Thor he destroys the rainbow bridge. which then falls below asgaard into a black hole. which may be part of the reason Asgardians age slower than humans even without their armor and its blessings. It's also indicated that asgaard is in a state of perpetual bliss as though the Land itself is caught in a timeloop of perpetual motion that keeps its waterfalls flowing. Most likely one of the things Odin accomplished with the infinity stones. not to mention imbue the rai bow Bridge to act as an Einstein rosenbridge.
back to the point The metal most likely used to make hemdahls station was most likely Uru. made from neutron stars. hence Banners seemingly throw away line in Sakaar when he says "that looks like a collapsing neutron star inside of an Einstein rosenbridge. meaning when the bridge was destroyed and fell into the black hole it was lodged inside and never made its way out. This is the very wormhole Thor uses to escape sakaar with Valkery/Loki to get back to asgaard and confront hela. They emerge directly under asgaard where the rainbow bridge fell.
We know that the rainbow bridge bends space time because of one scene. Where hela kicks loki out of the bridge when being brought back to asgaard and seconds later does the same to Thor. When Thor catches up to Loki, Loki indicates he'd been there a few weeks or so to his first day even though they were only seconds apart.
I as the audience member see a purposeful moment here. Where Loki had already established his station in Sakaar previously in the first Thor. From this vantage point Loki could have ended up in The alternate future where the avengers lost and he met Thanos and truly took up his cause as we were originally intended to believe in the first linear telling of the story. It's the Loki series that sets up what a great antihero loki is and how he's gonna do it. It's the information he receives after the battle of new York that's gonna help him rig the endgame. at some point The alternate reality that the mind stone is from is like a series of infinite swaps. It's not until age of ultron we get to see what the previous reality was. In some ways it shows the course the avengers were on without its interference on the matter.
which indicates the sacred timeline is entangled in quantum terms. each universe a qubit unto its own infinitely branching into probable outcomes. Multiverses within muktiverses. playing on the ideas of sacred geometry, Schuman resonance, string theory, and the vibrations that make up the algorithm to create life. And on more grandiose scales universes would look something like mandelbraughts which also tie into the idea of a tesseract. parabolic man.
On that note I'm gonna end with I really hope some song from Tool gets into Marvel. Schism or Parabola seem to mesh with some of kangs themes.
sorry for the rant. I rarely catch fish with long enough attention spans to listen.
My take on marvel is it takes everything from pop culture in as many facets as possible and tries to create its own theory of everything. which it does very well except it relies on particular interpretation of quantum mechanics. makes for great storytelling but ultimately blurs the lines of even determinism over free will by making both equally possible thanks to Kang. This also plays off the idea of messianic undertones of do as the one says or your existence will be erased variant. just follow the yellow brick road.
I believe ultimately our Loki will agree with He who remains and strive to get back to the sacred timeline as its the only timeline he is aware of that gets to continue existing after the muktiversal war. Most likely Loki will be hugely involved with the sacred timelines rebirth. "Like the sun we will live to rise" " I assure you brother the sun will shine on us again." Loki appears to be indicating even Asgaards resurrection. I got a whole sound theory on that one too. involves secret wars and battle world new asgaard becoming asgaard etc. etc.
got a secret empire theory about old man cap that's pretty solid as well.
some other fun ones are how Loki is meant to viewed through Shakespearean tropes. How classical mythologies inform characters like Thanos.
And one of my personal favorites is how the entity Infinity plays on the concepts of consciousness. as though we are all just aspects of one entity in meditation. something eternals also hints at. As though Tiamat is a subcategory of Infinity and his imaginings of earthlings whereas other planets with life each comprise their own category for analyzing oneself. meaning the unimind connections in etrnals was indicate the sentient life was necessary for a celestial jestation period so that it emerges sentient having lived all the lives on earth. whereas Infinity lives all the lives within a universe. And the thought that all that potential also exists within all conscious beings.
for real now rant over... my kid just woke up gtg.
Venmo me 5$ for the novel you just read haha.

I've never done full research on Greek Mythology but I have heard stories that the Greek Gods are mostly vain assholes & the first time I watched Thor Love & Thunder was with a girl who knew a lot about Greek Mythology and she mentioned that as well so maybe Taika knew that as well and hinted it in the movie. I have done readings of Norse Mythology and if the Zeus from Marvel is somewhat accurate to mythological Zeus (as for personality) then I guess Mythological Odin & Zeus wouldn't get along either
