Thank you for all your help. I took your course on SBLOC I started to use it in the last 2 months and transferred my portfolio to IBKR. IBKR has the best rates. I’m already quite bit up.
@gustavavodiaz4689 Following because I'm seriously considering the same and a transfer to I KR is the next move. You're a step ahead. Feel free to check back on this comment thread to share any experiences you're having on your journey! Good luck to all!
Do you have a video (either on UA-cam or one of you courses) that looks more specifically at where and with who to invest the proceeds of an SBLOC? Obviously it could go anywhere, but you've talked a bit about where you personally invest. That info would be very helpful. Thx!
Your videos are great thank you. Please keep them coming. Do you think its a good idea too liquidate my 401k to buy another rental property. I stopped contributing a good while ago and wanted to do something with the money.
7:47 oh please 20% roi investments are easy for an average joe, bank bonuses, example: deposit 10,000 keep it in a new account for 3 months and get $500-181.25= 12.93% rate of return pre tax interest or effective 20.28% rate of return with relatively 0 risk before tax deductible 🤷🏾♂️
Another informative video with sage advice. Noob question: What's the portfolio balance threshold for acquiring a SBLOC. I realize there are variables like what the loan will be used for, dividends in the portfolio, a 50 percent valie cushion needed just in case, etc..., but is there a minimum value amount?my guess is $100k.
@@LiquaFoo Ah, this is the info I was looking for. Many thanks. I imagine Schwab has higher rates compared to IBKR (seems to be the best) but the concept of 100k and 75 percent of the value of quality securities is probably in the same ball park.
My current SBLOC interest rate is 7.25% or prime- 1.35% I’m cool with this on m1 and I’ll probably never switch because of the low $2,000 barrier of entry
I am trying to do SBLOCK with IBKR. Moved my stock there. Have a pro account. My available funds shows but when to do the withdrawal, the money available to withdraw is ridiculousmy low. Is there something I missed?
What are your thoughts on using an SBLOC to withdraw in a different currency? I realize this introduces forex risk, but I notice, for example, that the IBKR interest rates for borrowing in CHF appear to be significantly lower. than for USD.
Major difference, in a 401k loan, your assets do not remain invested, in an SBLOC they do. So your 401k basically has just switched asset allocation to a bond in the size of the loan with you as the counterparty.
I called Interactive Brokers… spoke to their client care, then supervisor, then their trade desk, then their margin team. They said they do NOT do SBLOC’s…. Just accept a margin loan. Do you have a margin loan or something else?
Winsmith is a legend
Already one of the GOAT financial UA-camrs

Maybe next time I'll finish watching the video before I ask my questions. Thank you for pointing us in the right direction

Please create a video showing us how to vet organizations that give out SBLOCs. Thanks
I watch all your videos but never comment. I appreciate your content immensely. Thanks!
Have you talked about getting a Series 65 license. It lets you skip the net worth requirement for an accredited investor.
Great stuff. Very impressive. I do find myself having trouble understanding how some ideas work and how to actually use the idea.
I plan to use buy borrow die in my real estate portfolio
Amazing

Great video. Wish find your channel before…
Thank you for the info. Can you tell us two Co's that you consider to be quality brokerages ?

thanks a lot for the video. That will be great if you can expand more about how sbloc tax deductible calculation works here. Thanks in advance.
@@LiquaFooyou don't understand the question here
Ofc I know debt does not require tax
thanks. That’s what I wanna know.

SBLOC reminds me of a 401k loan. An advantage of a 401k loan is the interest paid on the loan goes back to yourself.

Yes it’s a margin loan but your stocks are used as collateral. Even then a true SBLOC cannot be used to purchase stocks. A margin can purchase stocks.
Hey coach ❤
Great info. Sub & Follow! Keep it coming!!
Etrade SBLOC rate is 9.5 right now fyi.
What the heck do you invest to get 20% average return? Kathie Wood?
