YES! He's actually called Sengenjin! I love it (Sengenjin is my favourite monster and I love this retrain)
I like the idea of using the ultra spot to make the anime decks slightly more accessible, but also giving it some higher rarity.
However, I was also a big fan of the set design where a few ultra slots per set were dedicated to making it more likely to pull what you needed. Fenrir being the prime example. I would’ve really liked Mulcharmy to have been an Ultra.
I'm 50/50 with it. Ultras so far look lackluster. No real power cards with the current reveals. Maybe we'll get the rest of the fiendsmith core in super /secret?

@@autobotstarscream765 Go a tier lower. "Rogue" or Pet decks have a higher power ceiling than they've ever had in the game before while also being incredibly diverse in gameplan and matchup interaction. We're talking things like Shining Sarc, Gate Guardian (Kash being a level 7 engine helps a ton of anime decks in general), Traptrix, RDA, ect. ect. If those lower tier 2/high tier 3 decks were the power ceiling the game expands in complexity and variety overnight.
Well if yall thought tier 0 was gonna change, think again... FS is gonna be everywhere and even if SE gets hit, it won't matter

wtf are some of the rarities? what rarity is the gimmick puppet or the moon link?
This is actually how I have always been able to tell what rarity a card is in a tcg core set most of the time when Konami does these type of reveals. If the color of the card’s name is white then it’s a super or common, if it’s gold it’s an ultra rare, and if it’s silver it’s a secret rare.

What about the game is expensive they reprinted all the staples to the ground and handtraps. If you want new meta it’s gonna cost money and no 💩 they are going to make the good cards secrets and ultras. Also most of the time it’s cheaper to just get pre orders or using any proms

To play top meta, I don't remember it has ever been cheap.
Sometimes SD is good enough to become tier 1 like dino, machina, agent, etc but the staples usually always been expensive.
If you going to be playing the best deck then no it won't be. There are so more options to play that are budget friendly in 2024 compared to yesteryear.
