Ariel Adams of aBlogtoWatch reviews the Tissot T-Race MotoGP 2020 Automatic Chronograph watch (Ref. T115.427.27.057.00). As its name denotes, the watch celebrates Tissot’s ongoing relationship with the MotoGP motorcycle racing series, and features design cues specifically meant to evoke a motorcycle wheel. A brake rotor-style bezel encircles the 45mm steel case, with a caliper-style crown guard. Applied hour markers and slightly recessed subdials offer a sense of depth to the dial, and the watch is powered by an ETA caliber C01.211, which is a Swatch Group-exclusive alternative to the Valjoux 7750 chronograph movement. Limited to 3,333 pieces, pricing for this watch is $1295 USD.

Thank you for reviewing this watch… I just bought 2 pieces of the 2022 limited model… which pretty much looks the same, apart from being a blackish lume on the dial just like at the blackis seamaster 300m released earlier last year… This review was mich appreciated and I immediately thought about the royal oak too that is being one of the reasons I loved so much the dial of the watch when I first saw it.

Ariel made a mistake - it is not a baby 7750, but a Baby Lemania 5100, without 24hr subdial and central chrono-minute hand. I have very mixed feelings about that movement, as I experienced its failure just couple of months after the purchase...I would stick to the more expensive, but way more reliable Valjoux-bases models.

I like that watch and would own it but the irony is that a 45mm watch with that height will not fit under the cuff of my riding leathers! Haha.

You say the watch is cheap. I would say 500 is cheaper! It sure looks like nothing else out there. With a brake rotor and caliper!

Looks good but the colors remind me too much of Marquez.. And don't like how the straps are connected to the watch. If Tissot stops making the straps, you are screwed, as nothing else will fit.
