The Ringling Bros. & Barnum & Bailey circus train departs San Diego on 7/18/11!

I read on socalrailfan.com that the RB&BB circus train would be departing San Diego on 7/18/11 in the morning after the commuter rush, so I got up early and headed up to Ash street to catch it. While I was waiting I also caught Amtrak 564 & Coaster 644 arriving and while it was pulling out, Amtrak 573 also departed.

Great video of RB&BB Circus Train!.. It came up the Coast Line on August 15th on its way from LA to San Jose. I caught it pulling into the mile long siding at Surf, and again passing Guadalupe. It had to hold at Ellwood (out of Santa Barbara) for northbound Amtrak #14 and again at Surf for the southbound Amtrak #11.
